Java Moss Live Plant for Aquarium - 3x3 Inch

Very lush, green moss. arrived in plastic baggie, with plenty of condensation to keep watered. Although small amounts, grows fast under right conditions and is as described. I attached some of this to my cholla wood with fishing line, and there was enough to fill all around each of the three six-inch segments all the way around, if desired, although i only filled half of each with this moss. Very happy, although steep pricing; Would recommend.

It arrived late, but was at least very green. I did what other said and used a roller pin over it in the bag to get rid of any possible snails and then put it in a bowel with tank water for several days to be sure. But I still ended up with snails in my tank after doing all of that.

Bought from a different vendor before, but they were out of stock this time. So gave this a try. Beware: the 3" x 3" is correct. The dimension these folks left off is thickness. It was in a padded envelope and wasn't even 1/4" thick. So you get about a tablespoon of moss. RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE here!!

Product arrived earlier than expected and well packaged. Plants are a vibrant green and look very healthy. I may change to 5 stars after I have had it for a few weeks.

The bad ~ Not as much Moss as expected for $11. It was about 1/4 cup, maybe less. Moss was full of pond snails which are invasive. I rolled the package with a rolling pin, which killed them all tho.The good ~ Moss was lush and green. I found no problems other than the snails. It grew quickly enough. While The moss was in my quarantine tank I dosed it with flourish and noticed growth within two weeks. The packaging was worthy of protecting against heat and cold during shipping.

I have never purchased anything "alive" on amazon before, and let not very comfortable with it either. I looked through a lot of the java moss sellers, looking at reviews, pictures and prices. SoShrimp was probably the best decision I made, fast deliever and great service with questions. I was worried my 30 gallon take would need extra moss, so I purchased an extra 3x3 pack(two packs total). I tore my pack open in pure fear, thinking (Oh my gosh what have I done ordering an extra pack. I dont even know if this seller has good moss!?) Yes, the pictures showed beautiful moss in the reviews, yet I was still very skeptical. Gotta see it with my own eyes ya know? An actaully, the moss is such a rich green that in the middle of the pack it came in it looking black. But it very much was NOT soggy or yucky. When I took both packs out of their cute packs I swooshed them around and they expanded PLENTY. I put only some in my tank the rest is in a bowl yet cause there's so much. Plant was very well cared for arrived looking so beautiful. If I order any plants again Ill be ordering again from seller with absolute confidence. Thank you SoShrimp!

Disappointed in this order as well. The color of the moss was good, it was just a super small quantity. Definitely not worth $7.99. I couldve went to my local petco and got more for my money. Again, I wont ever buy from this seller anymore.
