Doctor Who 4th Doctor - Tom Baker Fourth Doctor Action Figure - 5"

This is a very nice figure, with a well done sculpt and good paint apps. But there are some build quality issues with the recent re-released version of the figure I received. As another reviewer noted, the scarf was attached to the head because too much glue was used to hold the hair on the head which leaked onto the scarf and caused some paint loss when it was removed from the head, also the head attachment pin got pushed into the body when attempting to swap heads, I managed to repair this defective pin with some super glue to hold the pin in the proper position. But I now have to make it easier on myself to swap the heads by heating the head I want installed which causes the plastic to become pliable preventing further damage when installing. I should also note that the paint apps are not as nice on the one I got as the earlier ones, it's not poor really, but it is lacking in detail seen on the earlier release. I wish I could give it 5 stars but the build quality issues are a real bummer, It is still worth picking up because it looks great, but just know what you are getting isn't perfect

Maybe I am biased because the 4th incarnation of the Doctor served as my introduction to Dr. Who oh so many years ago...Tom Baker is still my favorite Doctor. The facial sculpts (2 heads to choose from) are great, not perfect but pretty darned close. The smiling face for this figure certainly does capture the whimsical feel Mr. Baker put into the character. In this aspect the sculpt for this face has succeeded. Overall, a great figure. Even though the sculpt is not quite perfect is is very well done and close enough to make me very happy with this figure.

As you can tell from the zoom, the face has that slightly creepy and clowny face many action figures have. However, don't let that keep you from picking up this figure if you're a fan of the fourth doctor, particularly if it's on sale. I think Todd McFarlane action figures are a little better, but I'm quite happy with my Doctor!

Fun. My Dr. Who fan brother loved it. Brought back memories of our youth. We'd fight over TV time when were kids. I hated this show. Buy your family things you hated but they liked. You might get a hug.

not only is the detail exquisite in this Fourth Doctor he is larger than the star wars junk (6") and mine came with a TARDIS light/sound vehicle scaled to this action figure exactly!(TARDIS vehicle about 8") I did not even know it came with the TARDIS it isn't advertised but I'd say for the price it is worth it. I collect(and film) for Youtube, nice additon of the alternate head for serious/silly expression even if he has no hat in the serious expression. Whether your a collector or a toy enthusiest this is worth the dough!

Doctor #4 looks exactly as pictured. I absolutely love it. I grew up on this show and remember Doctor Who being on in the background as a child when visiting my Grandparents. Anyone that loves Doctor Who or grew up on it should definitely get this action figure. I also appreciate that they shipped the toy off quickly and that I received it so quickly and it was well packaged to prevent any damage. It's so cool. Love it! I'll attach pictures.

I don't generally buy figurines any more (too many Homestar Runner items clogging my shelves), but this was on sale. The number of poses is limited by the scarf (which is solid plastic, understandably), but the level of detail is good.

When I got my package I was, of course, excited. When I opened it up and tested the articulation, I noted 3 errors. The left leg of my figure can't bend at the knee even though there is articulation seams. I have the same problem with my figures right elbow, and the bicep, even though it had an articulation seams, didn't turn and I snapped it off.

This is a fantastic figure of one of the most legendary Doctors Tom Baker.It is amazing well made and detailed but also very solid & robust.He does spookily look like Tom Baker with the curly mop and grin- or no grim if you change his head.He comes with a different head with a different expression- although I prefer to keep the original smiley one one.However might be good for kids playing .He also has a tiny sonic screwdriver and a part for k-9 ,you need to buy all the doctors to make a complete k-9.I really am impressed with the quality and versatility of it. All the joints move smoothly- with the hands being very verasile.Their is great detail on it, with arm patches on the jacket & dressed just like I remember. The scarf is soft & flexable yet kiddie resistant.The quality of it is far superior to most kids figures.You could safley let you kids knock this around without fear of it being damaged. But I must admit I bought this for my adult self and to relive memories of my favourite grinning doctor- which it does very well.Just a shame there was no jelly babies in the pocket....

Whilst the price was slightly on the high side, I still do not regret this purchase. This 4th Doctor variant is the one I have fondest memories of and the likeness is amazing. Took slightly longer to arrive than I'd of liked but he was soooo worth the wait!

The figurine is amazing,the scarf is awesome. It was a gift to my friend, she was very happy with it. i will totally recommend it to people who like the show and most of all the doctor
