Urban Zen - Premium Sleeping Mask - Ultra Comfortable Face Contoured Model with Ear Plugs & Travel Pouch

I will try to write a fair and objective review of this sleep mask. First however let me state that I have a BIG head. Not a lot of brain matter but a size 8 nonetheless. I have found very few hats, fedoras, caps, etc that fit me. Even knitted ski hats are tight.I establish this (my big melon) at the outset because I returned this sleep mask within a day of delivery. The headstrap with velcro was not long enough to fit comfortably around my head. Had the strap been a few inches longer...maybe; but the mask was too tight and did not contour around my right nostril/cheek allowing some light to enter my darkness.So for me it was not a good fit and thus of little use.However I do not fault Urban Zen for my decision to return the sleep mask. If you have a BIG HEAD like me (size 7 & 7/8 or larger) this sleep mask probably isn't for you but for everyone else...it's pretty good. The mask itself is of a quality material, stitching and construction. It provides a wide band of material to cover your face.and is is fabricated to contour around your lower forehead, eye sockets, temples, nose bridge and nostrils. This ain't what they hand out on airplane flights. I judge it to be a quality product and company; w/ fast delivery, good packaging and email notices.I only gave a three stars because, hey, it didn't fit ME. Otherwise a 4 or better is more appropriate.I did not open or try the earplugs because I knew they'd be going back.That's my story and I'm sticking to itPaulFR

This is one of my favorite sleep masks. I have quite a few that I have tried, and I like that this one allows for the nose and has indents inside for eyes. The majority of sleep masks available are flat, and don't allow for either. Many of them apply pressure to the eyes all night, and it takes some time for the eyes to focus in the morning.This mask is also light weight, so it doesn't cause your face to sweat. It has a Velcro adjustment in the back to adjust for size. With most Velcro adjusted masks, they are great if you can wear them at the smallest size. If you have to adjust the size so that some of the Velcro is exposed, hair tends to get caught in it. About the only thing that I don't really like about this mask is that the edges feel sharp against my face if I don't get it on just right. Other than that, I love this mask and wear it most nights.

(I didn't use the Earplugs; I use white noise) I bought the Sleep mask to block out light from -- whatever. My first night using it; I had the most refreshing sleep (combined with VIVID dreams!) that I have had in literally Years! (no drugs, either!!) It accommodated all my tossing and turning, without any discomfort; easy to adjust; very comfortable; cushion-y feel on my face.When I awakened in the morning, I was BLINDED by the morning light when I removed the mask, so this proves that it is worth the money!Would I recommend?IMO, this is a MUST-BUY, if you need a sleep assist. MAJOR KUDOS! -- You will NOT be disappointed....

It's soft and fits comfortably and thoroughly blocks the light. I haven't tried the accompanying earplugs and didn't get any relaxation music with it, but the important thing for me is the mask. The only (slight) problem is the velcro keeps getting caught in my hair, but I'm thinking since I have a good fit worked out, I could wrap the section where the velcro connects with tape and end that problem.

It is now October. I can't speak for the experience of others but I can for myself. This mask quite literally is falling apart. In less than four months it is completely disintegrating. The individual lawyers separated and in a few weeks this will be unusable. I suspect they used a heat glue process to seal this and its coming loose. There is no apparent stitching. If others had good luck great. I feel like this was not for me and frankly that I paid for three months of bad experience.

I am very photosensitive and cannot stay asleep if the sun is coming through the window. Instead of trying to light block my whole room, I decided to try a sleep mask. The ones that airlines have are very uncomfortable and doesn't stay in place, so I decided to see which are the best rated out there. I found this had really great reviews so I got it. I am very happy with the purchase! This product is made very well, and works like a charm. Very comfortable, and stays on nicely. With this I stay asleep as long as I want to. A+++

I like the mask. It does what it states about keeping out the light. However, the black rubbed off on my pillow case and failed to come out with a washing. The mask has stopped this now so it does it when new, I guess. The elastic is a little weak and not adjustable enough for my smaller head.It doesn't leave prints deep into your face like some but does leave little lines that go away in about twenty minutes.Would I buy it again? Probably since it is one of the few I've found that have the eye wells made into the mask.

This item is almost the same as the dream essentials mask. I realized that night it wasn't. It didn't fit tight enough around my head so you can see light through the bottom of the mask. Then a month later the bottom of the mask started separating. I was trying to save money and order a cheaper mask but I learned I should have paid the few extra dollars and got the dream essential mask.
