Glow in The Dark Iron-on Heat Transfer Vinyl, 5 Sheets Neon Green Glow Green HTV Bundle (12 x 10 inches) for DIY Clothes Like T-Shirts Hats Helmet, Eco-Friendly Materials

I just received this product today. I got the iridescent green. I like that it's a true iridescent looking vinyl in the light. The photo taken in the dark was just a few minutes after pressing the vinyl on the shirt. I held it in the light for just a couple of minutes and it glowed quite brightly! I was cautious when working with this vinyl after reading so many negative reviews. First of all, I did a small test cut. I keep a 1 inch star shape file in Cricut design center to run a test to check the cutting/weeding. I set my Cricut Maker for holographic iron on. (there's also a setting for holographic heat transfer but I didn't use that). This particular design is very detailed and finicky but by going slowly and making sure to peel the vinyl by pulling it all the way back, parallel with the surface it peels off fairly well. I will note that there were a few places where it started to separate and a little of the outer iridescent coating was left behind. That was very easy to remove by just scraping it with the sharp weeding tool (the one that looks like a dental pic). Weeding out the little pieces like the eyes and such was very easy. There were instructions for heat pressing that included a fairly wide range of temperatures (like 290 to 340 degrees) and it said to press for 15 seconds. I followed the Cricut heat pressing guide for holographic iron on which said 330 degrees for 30 seconds, flip and do 15 seconds then cool peel (using a Cricut heat press). It worked really well. One of the little skinny branches on the design didn't look really secure so I just put a piece of baking parchment over it and pressed for 15 more seconds. It looks really nice and I'm really happy with it. The shirt is a lightweight 100% cotton shirt from Target. The true test will be when it goes in the laundry. I wash all my shirts inside out in cold water on a delicate setting and drip dry so I'm not anticipating any problems. I'll report back after I wash it.Just remember to take your time and do a test cut. It is certainly a bit more finicky than plain iron on but if you aren't in a huge hurry, it will turn out nicely!

So these sheets are awesome! You don't have to peel paper off the back, you just cut out your design and iron it on BUT there IS a clear plastic sheet on the irridescent from that you remove after ironing it on. I don't have a "cricket" so I just cut my designs out using scissors and razor blade and then ironed to a hoodie. Word of warning though- don't have your iron too hot because it can pucker if it gets too heated. But it glows in the dark super cool and hasn't peeled off and it's been over a year now with MANY washes and drying in the dryer. I highly recommend!!

Do not purchase this vinyl!! I had used it for a project for Halloween and liked it! However, when I reordered the vinyl for a new project, it appeared a different color than before, but I tried it anyways. The vinyl didn’t weed well, does not stick to the contact paper/clear sheet, and literally melted when trying to transfer to the shirts, despite following the directions!!! Not only did I waste my time using this vinyl, this vinyl destroyed two of my shirts that were supposed to be a gift for my twin daughters!!! I would give zero stars if it was an option.

It did the job making tshirts in an emergency. My local supply store was close

This is one of the best GID htvs I’ve worked with…it’s pretty easy to weed but the GLOW-is amazing! For one of the shirts I used it for an off-set and put regular vinyl over it and now the whole thing glows-not just the outline!! I’m super impressed! And definitely will buy more!! The only advice I’d give is make sure you set your Cricut to a high card stock setting bc it’s thick…

I got this for a shirt I was making for my niece. (I got both yellow and white) The vinyl is thicker than most other HTV, but cut ok on the Cricut Everyday Iron On setting. The transfer sheet is super sticky though and makes weeding difficult. I also found out that you CANNOT layer anything on top of this vinyl. It won't stick. Period. Unfortunately learning this cost me about 3 hours of time, 2 sheets of vinyl, and a t-shirt. Luckily I had another shirt at home that I could use, just not the color I had wanted to use.Close up on the navy picture shows where you can see I tried to press the lace design on top of the yellow. I cut the white dots and red laces out of 3 different types of HTV - nothing would stick. I finally had to slice the laces out of the ball design and hope nothing shrank to much. I was able to mostly line everything up ok with that.Oh! I almost forgot! The directions on the package were confusing too. There was an insert inside with directions for several different types of their brand vinyl. For this it says Temp 265-320, 7-15 sec, warm peel. Then there was also a sticker on the front that had Temp 300-340, 10-15 sec, cold peel.What worked for me (once everything was going straight to the shirt) was 315*F for 15, cold peel, for each layer, then another 15-30 second press once everything was on.

at first it was difficult to cut and weed. you do need to cut this on the same setting that you normally cut glitter HTV

I'm still new at HTV but I thought that this product was fantastic. I bought the pack of blue. It weeded really well and I didn't have any trouble with it and my heat press. It didn't seem to take much time for the vinyl to "charge" to glow in the dark but with more time, it probably would've last longer. I've been washing the shirt I used it on in cold water and hanging it to dry but its only been a couple of times so I can't necessarily speak to the longevity of it yet. I will definitely buy it again - I really want to see how some of the pink looks in person!!

This ordinary htv not glowing at all. Really disappointed.
