Superchips 3855 Flashpaq for Dodge Ram Diesel 5.9L 24V Cummins Diesel/Ram 6.7L Cummins Diesel

I've put a couple thousand miles on so far and it works great. I don't notice any diff between "towing" mode and "xs economy" mode. But I've gained 3-4 mpg, and hiway driving is much improved. On grades where my pu used to down shift, it no longer does, and it maintains a more constant speed when cruise is set. I would have given it 5 stars, but you can't change modes on the fly. It takes about 6 min of being stopped and reprogramming the veh! Not bad, but if you occasionally tow a heavy trailer, it can be frustrating.I think it was well worth it!

Dont ask me why becasue I simply do not know, HOWEVER I get better MPG with it set to "performance". Also, the "towing" setting is not advisable if you are doing mountain climbs because it will cause engine to get hotter than if you leave it in stock. This is all only from my personal experience with 2003 Ram diesel. The ability to change wheel size to make speedometer accurate is great.WHile it does let you see DTC and clear them it does not let you see when DTC was created.

Came on time took it out of the package downloaded the update software from Superchips updated the programmer and had absolutely no trouble getting it to program my truck. I even like the way you can enable manual high idle which is nice if you want your truck to warm up right away! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some added power you can feel at the pedal and yes it will make it smoke when you floor it just make sure to watch your fuel pressure because it is a performance add on and its always smart to have gauges and necessary pre-reqs as well. But definitely an easy to use addition to my vehicle!

I was excited to get the tuner but that quickly faded. Didn't work so went to their site to upgrade. The program to upgrade wouldn't even open after burning up 80mb no 160 mb of my satellite data because I tried twice. Now comes customer no support after you give them every piece of personal info you could imagine just to register on a full page form. Then you get to fill out a form much like the registration any guess what it won't submit and goes blank to be filled out again. Their site sucks big time and if it is indicative of how their product is SUPPOSED to work I understand the problem. Buy at your own risk I am trying to send mine back.

haven't had the chance to install it yet but I was attempting to register it with superchips only to find out that they do not make the 3855 anymore therefore there was no drop down for the 3855 on their site which is required. thankfully the tech support recommended using the 3842 part number instead. I will update as soon as I finish the product and test it out

do not buy this product my truck went through two sets of injectors in 2 months also it was blowing white smoke and i spent thousands of dollars going through 12 injectors and trying to find out what the reason why it kept on blowing the injectors . after the second timem mechanic said that a new pistion . i cleared all the settings to stock and its been having no problems since i got rid of this garbage tuner that dosent do anything but cost you thousands of dollars. this super chips company is garbage

I've only set it up once, but it seems to be OK. I would like to rate it again after I've had more chances to try other settings.

Awesome! Gave me tons of power. I own a 06 Ram 2500 Mega cab 4.5" lift and 35's, was getting 15-16 mpg on hwy. After installing tuner, Colorado Springs to Wichita KS I averaged 21.3 mpg (8 hour drive) Plus I smoked a Ford Raptor a few days ago!!!The 5 min it takes to switch from performance to economy or towing is well worth the price difference from the select on the fly models...
