Best All round Tripod ever
I have Many tripod over years. Started as beginner and kept upgrading. As I grew as photographer differrent aspect of phography kept adding on like travel need, weight issues , stability, waterproofing and reliability. Finally I found a single stop solution with full length without a central column. Its 5 star. Go for it. Most sturdy, Practical, Reliable and Lightweight.

The best lightweight tripod on the market.
Insanely good tripod. Incredibly lightweight, built well, super sturdy even in windy conditions. Incredibly easy to use and such a great price. I also love how small it folds up allowing me to attach it to the bottom of my camera backpack via the backpacks straps!

Rock solid Tripod
This is solid but lightweight tripod that extends to a good height. Looking forward to trying out in Thailand next March. Was originally carbon fibre dark grey, however I decided to camouflage it.

6 months of hard use and still great
This is hands down the best vale to performance legs I’ve ever used, quality is superb and it’s had heavy use using the Sirui ph20 gimbal and my z8 180-600 combo, I’ve used it in all weather for wildlife including the recent heavy snow and it has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

Great tripod, just don't do as I did. Spares?
Tripod is really sturdy. This is my first (well technically, second) carbon fibre tripod and am really impressed. But... I bought a carbon fibre Three Legged Thing Winston tripod but it had fault on a couple of the leg locks and had to go back. I needed a tripod quickly so ordered this for next day delivery. All good, except the blurb said the ball head had a magnetic Allen key. I thought I'd take that off as I didn't want magnets near to my cameras or lenses. When the tripod came it turns out the Allen key isn't magnetic, but is held in place with magnets. This is where it gets daft. I didn't want magnets near to my cameras and lenses - against all logic and laws of physics - in case they were affected by the magnetic field. The quick release base plate is held on the the ball by an Allen screw. You can buy different quick release base plates, so I thought I'd remove this one with magnets and replace it with one without. The problem is the the screw into the ball holding the base plate is made of something akin to cream cheese and the Allen key just turned an hexagonal hole into a faintly round one without too much effort. So I then decided to try to remove the magnets. I assumed they were glued in so thought I'd heat the magnets with a soldering iron, melt the glue and they would drop out. This didn't work. Drill them out I thought. Nope, the are as hard as glass. Drill the material around them away and prise them out. This just created a mess. I bought a new ball head - call it the stupidity tax - and have hidden the old one away so I can try to forget my folly. When the embarrassment has subsided I will buy a stud removing kit to try to extract the cream cheese screw and be in the position of having a spare ball head. Just to clarify the tripod is great and I'm sure the ball head is fine - I just don't trust magnets and their invisible force fields. The feet don't seem to have the same thread as all the spare generic tripod feet available online, so don't know how good Sirui aftersales and spares supply is. They don't have many spares on their website. Might be a consideration.

Extremely light weight and well built tripod. Very rigid especially for the size. Has automatic locking angle locks which is a must. Max height is about 57” so take this into account if you are taller and want to use it while standing.

I recently purchased the SIRUI AM-324 tripod, and while I’m really happy with the tripod itself, I encountered an issue with the carrying bag. They sent me the bag designed for the AM-254 model, which doesn’t accommodate the tripod with the ball head attached. This means I have to remove the ball head every time I pack it, which is quite inconvenient. However, aside from this issue, the tripod itself is excellent.
