Before buying these decals, I read many reviews. Mostly positives. A few mentioned that it wasn't working at all in absence of sun. I chose to give it a try regardless. Sadly though, I have a few birds attacking fours windows, and that hasn't stopped. The windows are facing north or west where the sun isn't shining in the morning. The problem is that the morning is precisely when the birds decide to attack the windows to protect their territory.So the bottom line is that these stickers didn't work at all for me. The birds even keep pecking at the sticker itself, at the same frequency as before.

Love them! Washed the windows, then applied the decals. They stick well on the glass, then I smoothed them out with a rubber/plastic spackle applicator. It's a barely noticeable ghost image. It's been about a month and none of the decals have curled, or lifted, even in this incredible heat wave! More importantly? Since the decals were applied, not one bird has smashed into the windows :) I'm so glad, because if they break their beaks, they die and I would hate to be responsible for that. A small price to pay for happy birds (and a happy homeowner).

The decals themselves work as expected, the problem I had with them was the application. They come packaged with simple instructions to apply to a clean, dry window and to start in the center of the decal and work your way out. I did that but had bubbles upon bubbles that did not give the clear look through design I was hoping for. Staring at the bubbles made me think of cell phone protectors and how they can be bubbly but apply well with a few sprays of whatever solution it comes with. Thankfully I always toss that solution in a drawer so I had a couple of extra bottles, I used about 3-4 squirts on the window and then applied the decal. It was PERFECT and the bubbles were gone. Now I'm happy and I don't have to worry about the little hummingbirds flying into the window.

I've purchased these numerous times because they only last about a year - which is fine.The problem is that this year (2020) the product seems to be much thinner than before. It's more difficult to remove them from the sheet, and not as easy to apply as in years past.The UV works, but the decals do not cling as nicely as before, and the edges want to curl up. I've had to repeatedly smooth them down on the windows. If the manufacturer has to charge a little more for the previous quality, I would happily pay it. Previously I would have given 5 stars on this, but now it's about a 3. Disappointed in the change and lower quality.

I blamed the first dead bird I found on my porch on a neighborhood cat. But, I heard a thump on my glass storm door and cat wasn't around when I found the second (dying, but not yet dead) bird on my porch so I ordered these after that happened. My sister calls me "Mother of Birds" because they're everywhere, including in my hanging porch flower baskets which have been nurseries for generations of lil' cheepers. No dead birds on my porch for the ten years I've had that glass screen door, but this has been a difficult spring/summer for birds, pets (especially dogs), and humans because of after-midnight munitions-grade fireworks (and gunfire) coupled with perpetual "peaceful protestors" disturbing our after dark peace. I can't prevent birds from being frightened during this human-caused turmoil and strife, however, there have been no dead birds on my porch since I stuck these up.

I ordered these decals a few months ago after a hummingbird crashed into one of our living room windows and died. 😥 We’ve always had issues with birds hitting our windows, and we’ve tried all kinds of ways to prevent it with little success. Since applying these decals, we haven’t had a single bird strike. But this morning I removed them so that our realtor could take pictures of our house, and in less than an hour a pair of hummingbirds crashed into the window. Needless to say, the decals went back up immediately...and I had to write this review.

These reflective decals have definitely cut down on the number of bird hits, and for that we are grateful. They are not 100% fool proof. We have noticed that if large predator birds fly overhead, there still can be enough panic to cause some of the little birds to hit the large glass patio door. Amazingly, the stickers stay on in all sorts of extreme temperatures.

I searched and searched online for something that would solve and prevent the occasional bird from flying into my living room windows. After reading all the positive reviews on this item I decided to give it a try. Overall it was easy enough to put them on the windows. Over the next week, however, most every bird around my house has decided to go a suicide mission by flying into my windows. WTF. I don't THINK a bird has died yet just from looking around the windows and my yard but I am going out to the yard tonight to remove all these things from my windows. Hopefully I can find something else to try that will work for me.

The decals look great on the window and are still there with no peeling off. However, after I put them up I have still had a couple of birds fly into the windows. :-(

I have used UV decals from this company before and they are great. Bird strikes on my north-facing windows that are close to several large trees with birds there daily entirely stopped after I applied them to the windows. You have to be careful removing them from the backing, and careful applying them because they can probably easily tear - though I have not experienced that. You should also check them every 4 months with a UV flashlight (at night in the dark) to make sure they are still working - mine lasted longer than a year at a time. PS: If you buy a UV flashlight, make sure you get one that is 365 nm, NOT the very common 395 nm which is not effective at all.

Beautiful and pretty but we couldn't unoeel 2 of the 4 from the paper. The two that we placed on the window are beautiful and visible without taking too much of the view sort of speaking. Hopefully they will work great and save a few birdies from hitting the window 🤞😁

Had numerous collisions and finally purchased these - have not had one incident since putting them upWorks as intendedLooks great, I paired these hummingbirds with some of the leaf decals

I used them for the first time after a bird hit my window. They work. Saw a bird coming at the same window after the decals and it immediately scooted away before the hit. Now use on my front and back windows. Love birds and felt that these decals do save their lives.
