Good portable monitor, great features
This portable monitor is definitely different than other monitors on the market. I have used 3 other monitors but I think I will continue to come back to this monitor. I use this monitor with a 14" HP Laptop so I ordered the 14" to match the screen sizes and helps a little more with portability. I work as an engineer, working on excel sheets, drafting, and reviewing multiple plan sets, so working while traveling, I feel like I need a portable monitor to have a second screen to look references while working. I REALLY REALLY like the stand, it's built in and sturdy enough, but the major thing is that it doesn't take up too much space. I travel for work a lot and when setting my laptop/portable monitor on a small coffee table, the base on this one works perfect for a smaller table footprint. All the other monitors I have tested come with the Folio style stand which always bugs me because how unstable they are and how easily they can be knocked over. There have been so many times where the cable that's connected to these "Folio" style stand, knocks the monitor over. This is not the case here. The stand also has USB-C on both sides of the monitor. This is something I didn't realize was super important to me, but with this small feature, I am able to carry a 1 foot USB-C to USB-C cable, because I don't need a long cable to wrap around the laptop or the monitor to connect. This just helps take up way less clutter on a small table, looks less messy when at a like a Starbucks. The screen brightness is just fine. My HP Laptop maxes out to about 300 nits. The max for this monitor is around 300 nits as well. This is perfectly fine since I don't have mismatching monitor brightness. If you were to use this with a MacBook (they have higher brightness) this monitor would not look that good beside it. But for around $120, it doesn't really matter in my case. The colors are washed out when comparing to a better screen, like a MacBook again. It doesn't really bother me for my type of work since I'm mainly working on excel sheets, or high contrast drawings that don't affect my quality of work. I wouldn't recommend this for someone looking for color accuracy. One thing to note, you do have to contact the store to receive a travel case. At the moment, my bag has a dual compartment that can safely store the monitor, but do note that you will be traveling with the screen exposed and I would recommend something to protect it while traveling. Overall, I would definitely recommend this monitor for someone who is traveling, and just needs a second screen for reference material. It feels super light and I really like the stand. I didn't weigh the monitor but I would say it's less than 2 pounds, it's probably just as light as an iPhone. This monitor would also work for someone who games at home and wants discord or some other monitoring software on a smaller screen. I plan on using it for this purpose as well.

Excellent Little Monitor
I purchased this to supplement a very small 14 inch monitor on my Dell Inspiron 14, and the devices meshed like they had always been used together. I have been using the monitor at work for a week, with a 14hr constant duty time each night without a snag. From the get go I was pleased: the price was good, the packaging and arrival shape was perfect, and the setup was too easy to call setup and didnt really require instructions. The provided cords are good quality and to be frank I was surprised they were provided in this day. As for weight... the thing is super light eight and I do not notice the extra weight in my PC bag at all. As far as build quality, out of the box, I am actually not just "not disappointed" but I am truly impressed. Hinges are sound and hold position well, button, port, etc are all good quality and feel sturdy and the speakers are decent (better than expected for size - in fact they are much louder than my laptops system). The screen can always be brighter for me ,but again - I love this little Dell that I use and it seems to be a bit brighter than that screen as well. Hot swap / plugging and messing around with software caused no glitches or concerns. Even when not using at work I plan to use this little guy for phones or extra home laptop viewing real estate as needed. If your looking at different monitors and would prefer one with a solid integrated stand , this hinge / setup seems to be excellent and I can highly recommend even if you are considering something a bit cheaper, go ahead and spend the extra 10-15 bucks, you wont regret it in this case.

Perfect for at home and on the go.
I needed a portable monitor that is lightweight so I can commute from my home to my job without the hassle and this monitor fits that category. It is very thin, lightweight, and well made. I love the matte screen instead of the glossy screen so there are no glares and it comes with all of the cables you need to get it running. I wish it could come with a case to protect when traveling. The menu buttons are good but it would be nice if it has a dedicated volume button for easy access instead of going into the menu. The quality of the image is good with enough contrast but the brightness level could be a bit more. Overall, I'm happy with the monitor and the values it brings to my productivity work.

Decent screen, decent price, minor gripes
Positives: * Color, brightness, and "matte-ness" of the screen are all pretty good. * The mini-HDMI cable is slim and prefect for a portable setup. Too often portable monitors come with somewhat average sized cables making them too thick or rigid for comfortable portable use. The included cable is similar to a Monoprice slim HDMI cable. * Sound is pretty decent for a portable monitor. I have had several small / portable HDMI screens with speakers over the years and this might be the best sounding. Won't blow you away but good in a pinch. * VESA mounting. I prefer to use more, smaller monitors to large traditional monitors for my desktop setup. The ability to mount it even though it has a flexible builtin base is great. However... see below. Minor grips include: * The build quality and how it is represented in the images. The images make it appear metal with beveled corners but it is all plastic. While it helps with weight it does feel more fragile and flimsy when compared to similarly sized metal portable monitors. * The bottom of the monitor where the largest bezel is located is a very thin plastic. Grabbing the monitor there you immediately feel it press into the frame and even a light touch leads to the screen receiving pressure. * VESA mounting is a bit odd. 1) They are using 100mm spacing for the mounting holes rather than the more standard 75mm found in small and light monitors. In my case this turned out to be a slight positive due to my setup but most of the other small monitors I have are using 75mm spacing. 2) They are using non-standard M3 screw sizes. M4 is the norm and as a result I had to search through jars of random screws I have to find ones that would fit. I can understand why they don't include the screws in the box but it certainly would have been nice given they aren't even standard sizes for VESA mounts. * The brightness appears to reset after losing power. I was told it could be due to insufficient power delivery. I'll need to test further.

Works great with my Dell laptop with the thunderbolt usb-c port. One cable is nice. The metal kickstand is great as well

Fantastic Value
I was traveling for work and wanted to increase my productivity by adding a portable monitor to my laptop for a second screen. This monitor proved to be an excellent purchase and great value for the price. It's extremely thin and lightweight, and it fit into the padded sleeve in my bag along with my laptop. I was worried about the plastic casing or screen cracking or breaking during travel because it's so lightweight, but it held up just fine after being stuffed in and out of my bag, going through airport security, and being jammed in and out of the airplane storage. Impressive. I used it for basic web surfing and office tasks such as spreadsheets, so I can't speak to the screen quality for media or gaming, but it's more than sufficient for work and not any different from my home office setup. I'm very happy with the brightness and screen resolution. It worked perfectly with just the USB-C connection to my laptop for both the display and power. It's great that I don't have to use an additional power connection to the monitor, it just runs off of my laptop. Setup was simple, I just plugged it in to my laptop and it was ready to go. The only complaint I might have is that it's a portable monitor, but it doesn't come with a case. I was nervous about not having the screen protected during travel. Luckily, I read other product reviews and found that if you contact the company support, they will send you a case after your purchase. The customer service was great and I received the case in time for my travels. It was a good experience working with their support, which is not always the case with Amazon purchases. This company did a great job for their customer, but perhaps they should just include a case with the portable monitor in the first place. But they did resolve it quickly and easily when I asked. I can't recommend this portable monitor enough. Supreme value for the price.

Awesome Little Monitor
Fantastic little monitor! I used it to monitor my Home Server! It's light , bright and just awesome! Well worth the money! Wish I would have known sooner! Anybody want 5 year old monitor? 😅 Seen some old reviews stating that there is no power button, must of been Gen1 version! but the one I got comes with dual purpose power button, hold it for 2-3 seconds to power off otherwise its a menu button. Also comes with VESA screws(4). LOVE it! ❤️
