Using the correct fixings is very important; as this is what will keep your cat bridge secured. If you are able to screw into brick or wall studs then please do.The bridge attaches to your wall via 2 handmade reinforced wooden brackets that have 2 metal plates attached to each of them, one at the top and one at the bottom; this gives 4 fixing points for each bracket for added stability.The brackets themselves are reinforced and they are screwed together rather than just glued. The screws are countersunk so your kitty will be safe.The wood used is smoothed, kiln dried and untreated cat safe softwood.The 6mm sisal is 100% natural and cat safe. It is knotted after each wooden slat, to allow even movement.The bridge is secured at each end, by threading the rope through pre-drilled holes in the brackets, and then knotted to secure.This is a 1 metre bridge when laid flat. However the distance you set between the brackets will determine the depth of curve of the bridge. Brilliant!
So pleased with the quality of this bridge, I ordered it expecting for it to come after the Christmas rush but to my pleasant surprise the seller was able to send it much sooner! Very well packaged, and beautifully made. You can tell that there is a lot of love that goes into these cat bridges. It's a thick, sturdy wood accompanied by a thick sisal(?) rope that binds it together. Along with wood glue, some staples and i believe nails/screws to ensure it will hold up to the bounds of cats jumping on it. Can't wait to put it on my wall soon. For the price of this bridge, compared to other bridges of the same or similar quality, they're double the price. This was such a good find, I was been deliberating over which one to buy for some time, after hours of trawling the internet for one that didn't break the bank, this has been perfect. Thank you so much!Also to add, it comes with the metal brackets already attached so all you have to do is pre-drill the holes in your wall, insert wall plugs and then screw it in place. Simple and straight forward.

What you see is what you get!
Love this product and so do my kittens! It’s well made and sturdy. The natural pine is inoffensive and is easily matched to other furniture and other parts of the ‘wall cat tree’. What you see is what you buy so it’s hard to fault it!
