Avatar, The Last Airbender: The Rise of Kyoshi (Chronicles of the Avatar Book 1): Volume 1

One of my favourite books ever, I did not want to put this down after I started reading this. The author tied everything that we knew about kyoshi from the TV show in flawlessly and made her an incredible character. This can also be read as someone who doesn't watch the show either

I had no idea what to expect from this when I started reading but was instantly hooked. I had never fond avatar kyushu particularly interesting before this but now I want to know everything about her!! The storytelling is excellent in this and the way the author describes bending is sublime. What I also love is how the air nomads are still there and thriving! It gives you a real insight into life before Sozins war and also shows the real political tensions of the four nations! Such a cleverly written and adult version of the avatar story that I can't help but love it and hope you will too!!!

This book hooked me in right away. Really enjoying it and I can't put it down. It's great to be back in the avatar world and learning more about the previous avatars. The packaging was slightly damaged on one corner, with the padded envelope torn, but the book was fine.

I’ve just spent the last two days reading it and it was so worth the purchase! If you’re a fan of the series you’ll love this. I’ve always wanted to know more about Kyoshi and I’m so glad they’ve bought out a book. Even if you’re not too familiar with the universe it’s still a great jumping off point. Yee writes so well and I loved all the characters. I felt instantly caught up in the world. Now I just wish we were getting a live action kyoshi.

It was a great book and I felt like I was in it but maybe to make you feel more in it you could add some pictures 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The story will give every ATLA fan the insight to Avatar Kyoshi's origin they crave! It was well written, didn't shy away from sexuality and female empowerment that Kyoshi is renowned for as well as showing why she looks the way she does AND how her personality was built. The book has perfectly evolved with the original audience target (young teens) who are still a fan of the series, it is maturer. I loved it and cannot wait for the second novel.

After watching the show, I wanted more of the series. This book was a great place to start allowing a even better view in the world. I enjoyed every last page of it.

i watched avatar a while ago and having this book is amazing because of all avatar incarnations kyoshi was the only one who didn't have so many details about her story. I bought both books a while ago too and i only managed to read the rise of kyoshi until now but i loved it.

Se siete fan di avatar e volete saperne più su kyoshi questo libro fa per voi. È in inglese quindi se non spicciate parola evitate, ma se avete almeno un B1 ce la fate a capire tutto dato che non ci sono paroloni strani, a parte quelli che fanno parte dell'universo avatar. Io l'ho quasi finto ed ho già comprato il sequel, mi sta piacendo molto. Rappresentazione wlw azzeccata. 15 euro ben spesi. Inoltre sotto la copertina rimovibile, quella rigida ha impresso il nome del libro con quella che credo sia una foglia d'oro su sfondo nero, l'effetto è bellissimo.

Aún no he leído como tal el libro, pero tiene un tamaño de letra cómodo, es de pasta sura con sobre cubierta y es simplemente hermoso por el simple hecho de su manufactura, por el precio, pienso que estuvo bastante bien. Pero si tienes la duda de si vienen con ilustraciones de algún tipo, pues lamento decirte que no, pero está muy bien construído.

El libro ha llegado más rápido de lo que esperaba, y en perfecto estado. La edición es bastante buena para el precio que tiene, ya que la portada tiene detalles con brillo y tiene la tapa dura. Es un regalo, así que tendremos que esperar para juzgar por su contenido, pero siendo parte dle universo de Avatar, dudo que decepcione.
