Very effective in a very high humidity location
Bought two of these to use on my boat A/C units. They are perfect as they have a sensitive water sensor AND they automatically turn on every five minutes or so to remove water if the sensor is not working for some reason. Great fail safe. Very important on a boat that can pitch or role a great deal and dump water out of the evaporator tray pretty easily if not kept very low. Seem to work perfectly. They vibrate a LOT when turned-on so its important to mount using the dampening rubber mount and making sure the body of the pump is not touching surrounding enclosure or you will hear when its running.
