The Fundamentals of Astrology: A 52-Card Deck & Guidebook Cards – January 1, 2018

Wow! This is an incredible product. I expected it to be beautiful from the photos, but I didn’t expect the quality to be so exceptional. I own about nine oracle decks and this one is by far the most luxurious. The way the pages feel ......so elegant. And the color! The cards are flexible and very strong....they shuffle so easily but keep their shape (trust me, something most decks don’t). I was surprised to see that each card has extra messages that are listed in the guidebook. This really helps me to understand a reading I just did for a good friend of mine. So, so beautiful!

I absolutely love, “The Fundamentals of Astrology” by Heather Arielle. The book is written in very easy to understand terms. It helps someone to process the multiple meanings each Oracle Card has and how it may individually apply to a person on any given day. The Guide Book is divided into 7 color coded sections for easy reference. It provides basic knowledge on 1, 3, and 4 day spreads as well as 12 month and Astrological spreads. The 52 card deck is very easy to handle and shuffle. Print is large enough even for the most challenged eyesight. Thom Cummins drawings are carefully selected to provide the visual imagery in the Guide Book and Oracle Deck. The artistry reinforces the subliminal messages one gleans from each card and helps with the tactile association through his color choices.The hummingbirds on the front of each Oracle Card resonate well with me. The duality the birds represent help reinforce - LIFE- comings and goings, ups and downs, good and bad. It also makes you realize you were put on this earth for a finite period of time and specific purpose. Allow “The Fundamentals of Astrology” by Heather Arielle to help guide you on your personal journey. You will be glad you did.

To begin I love watercolors and the water color illustrations on the cards are lovely. The book illustrates each card with a brief description of each car including reversed cards. More, this set is a way to learn basic astrology which previously I found overwhelming and complicated. The quality of the cards are nice and easy even for small hands to handle. Plus I look forward to using the layouts provided in the book with my traditional tarot and oracle cards as well.

I love these cards, I haven't had a chance to bound or really check them out yet. The book looks well put together. The down side I seen right away was the card themselves didn't have their own small box for traveling if you didn't want to carry the bigger box. You will have to come up with a different alternative. Also with them being lose cards to store in the original box to remove them from their hole or slot isn't quick and easy. A rubber band around the cards may help with that. What else that I did like about the cards, first card flip so to take a picture was Get Moving which I was thinking I need to hurry up and get back to work, lol right on time. Disappointment per cost of these cards should had a smaller card box just for the cards as well.

Update: The seller is amazing and professional. She went above and beyond. Order with confidence. The first box was thrashed. The second box has damaged corners. The box seems sturdy so I am confused. The cards are awesome and the book is amazing and very easy to understand.

I’ve been using the deck/guidebook to master my overall knowledge of astrology, and it’s quickly becoming my go-to reference guide whenever I have a question. I especially love the in and out of balance sections of the book.  When I first started learning astrology, I thought some signs were good and others were bad. The book really makes it clear that there is no good or bad energy; instead, it’s a question of balance. You can either be in or out of balance with your energy. It’s easy to look up each card (color-coded) and find out exactly what it means to be in or out of balance with that specific sign, planet, element, etc. I find this to be a refreshingly nonjudgmental approach that has actually inspired me to make some adjustments to my own behavior. I’ve also been using the cards as flash cards because each card really does capture the essence of that energy. I can give this deck/guidebook my highest recommendation.

Highly recommend- I feel like I can actually understand astrology! Beautifully designed, written, & amazingly thought out - truly in a class all to their own. Wow I honestly cannot wait to see what else she comes up with 🤩
