Zerran Blue Shampoo, 8 Ounce

I am growing my silver hair longer, and as with most people, I am finding that my hair texture is not what it used to be. I have tried other blue shampoos, which do work to keep the yellow out, but also dry my hair, which is NOT what I need.Since using this shampoo, my husband has commented on the softness of my hair.I have found the shampoo I love, and am sticking with it! I bought the 32 oz size, and expect it to last at least a full 12 months.If you have greying, have silver or white hair and want it to feel conditioned, splurge and get this shampoo. It is better than buying a cheaper brand and ruining your hair.UPDATE: I have been using this shampoo now since I left the review above. I use shampoo very carefully, no heavy chemicals, and I prefer coconut oil for overnight conditioner. I included a picture to show just how healthy my hair is. I had tried to grow it out, but I never felt good with the middle length. I am getting ready to buy my 2nd bottle (YES! Only a Nickle sized blob of shampoo is all that is needed, as this hair wash is thick and concentrated. You do NOT need a lot of lather, that is how commercial shampoos get you to use (waste) more product. I tried an all natural shampoo, but I just didn't get the bright color I get when I use this. I wish this came in a 64 ounce size, but I will be buying the 32 ounce bottle again.(truly, do not use as much as you think. Bubbles sell shampoos, but are not needed!)

I'm in my early fifties and I grew my hair out about a year ago and it is white mixed with silver. Since growing it out...I've only ever used blue shampoo's on the advice of my stylist. That combined with the fact that I have very thick, dry hair and therefore only wash it every 5 to 7 days. I purchased this shampoo based on the few raving reviews here, but I won't buy it again. Previously I've used Clairol (shimmer lights) and Joico Violet, and I find both of them to be preferable to this shampoo for less money (I found the Joico at Marshall's). I really do recommend using a blue shampoo for silver/white hair as long as you don't use it more than once a week or so....I'm constantly getting compliments on the color of my hair.You don't always get what you pay for!

I have been using ZERRAN BLUE, for several yrs, and find it works great, no brass shine, no poor smell...the stuff just works....although it is getting more expensive ...

I'm male with a good head of great white hair! The only problem is that it tends to take on "brassy" tones. I purchased Zerran Blue Shampoo to get rid of the brassiness, as the copy led me to believe it would. I've used the shampoo for 6 weeks now and it's just as brassy as when I started. Nice shampoo, but don't expect it to erase the "brassy" tones. I'll keep looking!

This shampoo sells as blue shampoo but it's actually purple. If you are blonde or have highlights and you're looking for a blue shampoo that will help on the brassy look, purple will not help as purple has magenta in it and the color orange is made of yellow and magenta, so the purple will add magenta to your brassy colored hair. Blue on the other hand is the opposite color of orange,and really cuts off the brassiness. I was very disappointed when I opened this shampoo since it is deceiving, it sells as blue, has blue written in the name and obviously I thought I was getting a blue shampoo and surprise! It's purple. Big bummer

I have to admit that I have my hair dyed and highlighted. Unfortunately, the blonde dyes rarely look completely natural. This shampoo brings the correct tone back to your hair. Excellent product. A bit expensive.

This product was listed as fragrance free. It is NOT fragrance free so I couldn’t use it. I must use fragrance free products.

Have been using for a month. Love it! I have a short pixy cut and it leaves my hair so soft no conditioner needed. My hair is mostly silver and I wash every other day. I was looking for a organic product that would work well and I scored. I will order the larger bottle next time now that I know it works.
