Checkerboard Collar (Black)

Okay, so I'm a first-time cat owner, and there have been so many things to figure out, and I've been on a steep learning curve, but I know this: cats, unlike dogs, seem to really not want to wear a collar. But this one is unlike any other. I bought a decent collar when we first found Walter, just so if he got out, people would know he is owned and loved. But he would try to get it off. And did. But the Beastie Band, oh, whole different story! Totally made for cats. It's very soft neoprene (think wetsuits, or thin beer can insulators), with a very simple velcro attachment, so your cat can get out of it and not hang himself if need be. But it is VERY lightweight, and after a couple of halfhearted attempts to work it off, Walter has decided it's not worth the bother. He has been totally cool with it for several weeks now. And it's cool/cute looking. I bought a second one as back-up, just in case. Very, very pleased.

I’m shocked that these aren’t widely available in stores! This collar has been amazing, it’s not only soft on to the touch but the stretch/thickness ratio has been perfected. The Velcro is strong, hasn’t stuck to my cats fur, hasn’t curled at the end, nor moved from placement. I opted for one of these collars vs. the breakaway collars because I didn’t want to worry about any buckle failure. Being that my cat is very hyper & is an inside/outside cat I wanted to maximize his safety. The durable design and the fact that theres less components to this collar leaves less room for failure & has me feeling much more confident.

These are the absolute best collars. Soft, and designed to be stretchy so kitty can pull out if they get stuck.My kitty came home from the backyard recently without his Beastie Band, and this is his replacement.

I’ve had this for about 4ish months and it’s served me quite well, but it’s almost completely faded or worn off. It started to fade rather quickly, maybe like 3 weeks in, so there’s that… otherwise is very comfy for my girl and she likes it!

I really didn’t think it was going to work. But even with tags and a name plate it’s never fallen off! It’s very soft and my cat got used to it quickly.

Had this collar for about two months now. So far so good. The smallest size is still a bit too big for my kitty’s neck, but I have made adjustments to the extra piece that had no Velcro to make sure it stays down and homeboy doesn’t chew it or get it caught in his mouth. Nice stretchy material. He doesn’t seemed bothered by it at all and it looks great on him. 10/10 would buy again.

I am COMPLETELY AMAZED. If you are reading this because you have a cat that WILL NOT keep a collar on, BUY THIS RIGHT NOW!! I have tried 3 other collars (all break-away) on my cat, Mace, and he gets them off in 5 minutes flat every time. He HATES wearing a collar... until now. I read the reviews for Beastie Bands and I bit the bullet and tried one last attempt at a collar, and this was it!! Not only did it stay on longer than 5 minutes, he has had it on for a week now! Its so lightweight, he doesn't even notice it is there. Being a veterinarian, I am always concerned about his safety, and this collar is still stretchy, so I am comfortable knowing that if he gets caught on something, he can safely pull out of it. I HIGHLY recommend getting this for your cat!

This is my third one. I love them! The last two came off somewhere outside but I take the blame because I didn’t trim as instructed. They are super soft and comfy for all day lounging and this third one has stayed in for awhile now! The dog can’t nibble it off because she can’t get ahold of an un-trimmed end any more!
