Rio Briati Pecorino Romano Grated Bag, 8 oz

I’ve ordered this many times already. Lovely flavor and goes so well on so many things. Stay fresh quite a while, too and freezes as well.

Beautiful, powdery ground, pecorino romano cheese that has everything you want from the goat without the Locateli wet-wool, overpowering, baaah-aaah-aaadness. Just delicious, slightly salty, creamy and nutty sheets milk cheese and just what the finest plate of pasta with any red sauce could ask for to boost the ratings! Add a drizzle of the freshest evoo on top of the cheese, mebe a pinch of red pepper flakes (please!) and forget about it. Keep it very cold and sieve through a coarse strainer if it starts to clump. Or just eat the clumps and quit complaining you.

Pungent nutty lots of flavor. Highly recommend.

Great added to cut up fresh fruit in a salad or to simple pasta dishes. Sprinkle and mix in.

Some of the best Pecorino Romano on I have ever bought. And how they keep it from clumping is a major mystery! Super cheese and I have had Romano on my table for over 70 years. I'll never buy Locatelli brand again, and that's saying something!!

It's not bad and it's not great. I found a dead bug at the bottom of my bag -I have zero insects in my home and the bag went directly in the fridge from the grocery bag. So... it came that way. I get that these things do happen, but I didn't like this cheese enough to buy it again. I don't feel like reviewing this product. Buy and try if you want... I won't give them my money or another chance.
