Oasis Supply Mercken's Chocolate Wafters Candy Making Supplies, Dark, 10 Lb

Love the taste of these. I am using them to make Christmas food gifts and wanted to find an alternative to the bag chips available in the grocery stores. These worked great. I have melted about 1/3 of each and was surprised how far the chocolate went when dipping my peanut butter balls in them. I will purchase again. I wasn't sure which ones to buy from Amazon but these had great reviews. Glad I took the chance on them. Better tasting and less expensive. Win, win.

While not as good as the chocolate from my local chocolate shop, it still tasted great! I used this product as molding chocolate to make chocolate frogs for my University's Yule Ball (Yes, like from Harry Potter). We ran out of frogs very quickly. I confess to being a bit of a snob when it comes to chocolate, and this passed muster. It melted quickly and smoothly and was very easy to work with. Chips tasted fine prior and post melting. i would purchase this again. 5 stars due to quality at reasonable price.

Ingredient list: partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil and cottonseed oils, non fat dry milk, cocoa processed with alkali, cocoa, glycerin lacto esters of fatty acids, soy lecithin added as an emulsifier and salt. Gluten free & kosher. Melted easily and taste good. Wish I could find bulk organic as these ingredients are not ideal but got the job done.

The best chocolate to use for any chocolate project you are making. It has a great flavor as well.

I have been making candy for over thirty years and have always used Merkens semi sweet chocolate for dipping. This is the first time I have purchased it on Amazon. This product has a very different melting point and is difficult to work with. I used the same melting pot so temp is the same- the product is clearly different. The taste seems to be ok but the finished candy is not very attractive. It is not shiny and will not swirl on the dipped candy-it forms a "puddle" underneath. It would be fine for molded chocolates but not a good product for dipping.

Excellent quality chocolate. Great for baking, dipping, chocolate-making, and all things chocolate related!Had a couple mishaps with my order, but the manufacturer was very quick to respond and resolve the issue by sending a replacement.Highly recommend.

Best Chicolate you can use for making candy!!! I’ve used it for years and will use no other. Melts really good and the finished product is always smooth.

Very good melting wafers. They melt smooth and have a great chocolate flavor. This is true for both the dark and milk chocolate wafers. I haven't used the white chocolate wafers . I always use Mercken's wafers. A great product for a good value.
