6 Colorful Straws for Kids

I got these for my son to give on Valentine's day to other kids at his daycare with a capri sun and a sign that says "sip sip hooray, it's valentine's day!" They are nice quality straws and we've enjoyed having a few spare to keep at home. Fun for kids. I've only hand-washed them and they've been fine (I haven't used them for milkshakes or other liquids that could "gunk up" on them).

The package shown online shows six different colored straws but I only received three colors. This is relevant because I ordered these to use as a fine motor activity with students, and planned to have color-coded pieces to go with them. Not a huge deal, but when you are an employee in an educational system and already paying out of pocket for many different items, costs add up. It simply would have been good to know, as I would probably have ordered a different set.

I used these for birthday gifts for our church children’s group. I put them with a package of kool aid and wrapped them in a cellophane baggie - they worked perfectly, were thick and durable! The kids will be able to use them again and again! I liked the colors too.

The photo shows 6 different colored straws and I received 2 each of 3 colors. I purchased these for a fine motor activity to use in my PreK classroom expecting the straws to look like the photo shown and purchased beads to match. I would have bought a different set had I known they would not be what is pictured.

Got these straws for my niece who is two years old. I got them for her as one of her stocking stuffers this past Christmas. She has a lot of fun with these straws and it gets her to drink her milk/juice/water...she is such an active girl that it's hard to get her fluids into her when all she wants to do is play...but these straws make it fun...you just have to monitor any child who drinks from these so they aren't walking around with a straw in their mouth.

I got these for kiddos to put beads on for a fine motor activity. They were perfect!

The straws are functional and fun. It is a nice way to make a regular meal routine more festive. Plus it seems that my daughter enjoys having her milk or drinkable yogurt more when these straws are around.
