Love it! Best first book about emotions - simple enough for little ones to understand

I bought this book to help my 2-year old understand basic feelings, but the rhymes and descriptions aren't very clear for a toddler to understand...maybe for a kid who is 3.5-4 years old. The quality of printing and images I'd describe as low-quality...the whole thing just seems a bit outdated. Another comment I saw on here that I agree with, is that there are two images of girls being "embarrassed" and none of boys, which I didn't think would bother me...but it definitely does.

I bought this book for my son to help him understand, identify, and put words towards the feelings he is experiencing. I received this book today and read it to him once so far; he is already quite interested in the book. He was curious about the children pictured and asked questions about them (he's two years old). It was clear that he was able to identify their feelings based on the very clear images, which I appreciate as a mother to a child with vision loss. The facial expressions on the children are very easy for him to see, which I am so grateful for, so, for us, this is a fantastic book.

My nephew seems to have really taken to this book. I like anything that they can learn from and I think feelings are an important form of human expression which children often struggle to explain when they're toddlers. I have been trying to teach my niece about feelings and emotions since she was one or two. This is much better than my homemade drawings though lol great book

It's a good book. My child doesn't seem super into it. I wish I had seen the inside before purchasing. The emotions are in a different color than the rest of the text, which is probably not a problem for most, but is a minor setback for me as I try to teach my 3 year old about emotions.

My toddler loves this book. I love the little quiz on the last page to help them identify feelings! Simple which is perfect for toddlers. My baby as with most seems to enjoy books better when it’s actual kids instead of cartoon figures.
