If you are still alive, pls, do read this book. You will find out why.
I received the book in a good condition, the book provides wisdom beyond one's imagination. It will definitely light up some untapped parts of your life. There's a saying that goes "the older the problem the older the solution".

Five Stars
Carl Jung as a thinker is really underrated. His work is more relevant than ever.

If you are searching for clues this provides the answers
I found my self questioning life and why I'm here existing among others as time slips through our fingers. Feeling like we have no purpose or belonging out of touch with the rest of the world. Isolated in our own bubble watching the days go by as you grow older without change for the better. After a psychadelic experience my perspective on the world changed and I started to read into psychology and eventually come across this. It is a book I would recommend to every man looking for answers or if you just have that feeling like there is a piece of you missing. Great work by Carl Jung although a small book it does leave an impression. This a simply a must buy

BEWARE OF AMAZON POD!
I bought this in good conscience, only to receive what I realise now is an Amazon reprint - a POD.This is not the same as an original Routledge Classic, and I have many of them.It is printed on poor quality, bright white paper, and does not have the same feel.Shame that I only noticed months later when I went to read it, but I am PO'd!There is no way to tell on the Amazon page that it's a POD.BEWARE!

Poor effort from Routledge
This is not a review of Jung, who is important enough to be read and my opinion of his writing neither here nor there.Instead, the review is of this Routledge edition. As far as I can tell the translation is perfectly adequate. But the presentation from Routledge is lazy. There is no introduction, there are no notes, and there is no index. There is no indication of when each of the lectures that comprise this book were given. The text is set annoyingly close to the spine, whilst leaving loads of room the other side. There seems no other option for this book, but Routledge should do better. Poor.

The title is misspelt on the spine of the book. Ridiculous.
Cheap crappy reproduction. Get the Routledge version. Avoid this.

The Psychology of Spirituality without Religion.
Having read the Essential Jung by Anthony Storr, this I thought may be covering much the same ground, but aside from the first chapter on dream analysis there seemed to be little that was duplicated and thankfully there was no mention of Alchemy which to my mind overcomplicated the former. This contains 11 essays that are aimed at giving the reader a comprehensive overview of Jungs'theories and opinions, which mainly pertain to a non-religious spiritual rebalancing of the psyche.Although the first few chapters sail by with comparative ease more concentration is required in the latter half which requires more thought and consideration to what is being implied, those people more used to self-help and quick fix pop-psychology literature will probably be over taxed by the rather academic syntax. On the whole I found it very illuminating, but as I am familiar with more than a few Jungian concepts from different authors I could not really say how well it transmits the ideas to someone without any existing knowledge in this particular area.
