Great cleaner, worth every cent.
This works fantastic for me. I have a kidney bean style pool with gradual sides. The cleaning time is as advertised for me. I used the fine filter and picked up stuff my main filter would catch before. I've used it every day, it charges in 3-4 hrs, parks next to edge of pool when battery low. Has red light showing low charge and a hook is included. 9 yo kid runs this for me, settings are easy to set on it and an app as well. I use the app to see the charge.

Game changer pool vacuum
We got this on sale and also got a discount when we applied for the Prime Visa! We’ve had it about 2 months and didn’t want to write a review until we’ve used it enough. Definitely worth the money! It is so easy to use and we don’t have to hassle with the pool vacuum hoses any more! It came with a hook that attaches to one of our poles which helps pull it out of the pool. Does a great job cleaning the pool. It has 4 different modes. Once the filter basket gets so much debris, it automatically stops until you clean the basket. Our pool is kidney shaped, has a cage and only 13,000 gallons so it does great. If you have a larger pool or one that isn’t covered with a cage you will need to clean the basket many times to do the job. This model doesn’t come with a docking station but we have a small short table we store it in. We knew it didn’t come with one but wish one was included.

Great performance and value!
We’ve had our pool for about 6 months now and after having it “professionally” cleaned a few times I decided I could probably do a better job and save some money at the same time. Our pool looked better than when the pool company cleaned it but I found it was taking more time than I had. I wouldn’t mind paying the company but they just weren’t doing a good job. I did some research and landed on the Aiper Scuba S1. The price was reasonable and the reviews were solid. I ordered it and received it quickly. Out the box there was zero assembly required. It charged quickly and was a breeze to add to my Aiper app. The firmware update was fast and I set it in the pool to give it a go. The Scuba sucked up all the leaves and even a ton of dirt I didn’t even know was in my pool. It scrubbed the waterline effectively and didn’t miss any spots on the floor or walls of the pool. My only concern is that the Scuba couldn’t get past the pool steps without me picking it up and setting it down somewhere else. I’m hoping that after several uses it will “learn” to go around and keep on going to the rest of the pool. The Scuba did not climb onto the tanning shelf but I can’t say I’m disappointed because in my research I couldn’t find another robot (at least at this price point) that did so. Plus, we have longe chairs on the shelf that would make it very difficult for the robot to navigate around. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and it’s performance. I also have Aiper’s Hydrocom pool monitor and Surfer skimmer which have also been game changers. If you do your own pool maintenance, these products are the way to go.

Problems at first but fantastic customer service
Frequently gets a flashing red light. I take it out of the pool, turn it off and on and check for obstructions. Repeat 3 or 4 times before it actually runs. Gets stuck on the steps. When it works it does a decent job but I have to check on it frequently. If it doesn’t get everything in one pass I have to wait for it to recharge and run again. Going back to corded pool robots. Would t recommend. UPDATE: after a few more times trying get this to work I feel that it is useless. Will be requesting a refund. Absolute garbage Another update: after leaving this review, Aiper reached out to me (I didn’t initiate contact) and sent me a new, slightly better model. I have only used it 4 or 5 times but so far it cleans pretty well and hasn’t gotten stuck. It also charges in 2 or 3 hours, which is great. I am wondering if the first one was just a defective unit, based on how much more smoothly this new one performs. So between their customer service (not only sending the robot but they have been very polite and helpful) I’ve decided to improve my rating. Because of the first one not working well I feel it wouldn’t be accurate to give 5 stars but since they went so far out of their way to help me I feel like 4 stars is appropriate. TLDR: great customer service. Replaced my first robot with a better model that works great.

Works very well but I will edit after I have had it over a year
So far it works very well. It has several different functions I cleans much better then the last one I had but I’m waiting to see if it holds up. The last one didn’t clean as well but it was good enough that I didn’t have to vacuum every day. Unfortunately it died after 6 months. I will come back and edit if this one doesn’t hold up. I have used it every day for about a week. For the cost I expect at least 18 months to consider this a good purchase. It does save a lot of time and work it appears to be designed well the filter picks up everything from small grains of sand to bigger leaves and the filter is very easy to clean. We have a vey high use pool especially between April and November so hopefully it holds up and works as good as it does now.,

After trying multiple pool cleaners over the years, I finally found one that ticks all the boxes. The Aiper Scuba S1 is more than just a cordless pool vacuum—it’s a fully intelligent cleaning assistant that saves me hours each week and keeps my pool looking like a resort. ✅ What I Love: 💡 Smart Navigation (WavePath 2.0): This isn’t your average zigzagging cleaner. It follows a smart, optimized route, avoids overlap, and never misses a spot—even around drains, steps, and corners, thanks to its caterpillar treads and built-in sensors. 💡 Cleans Floor, Walls, and Waterline: It actually climbs up and scrubs the waterline! Most robots skip this, but not the Scuba S1. I used to manually scrub these areas—now it’s done consistently, and everything looks amazing. 💡 Top-Load Filter Basket: It’s large, easy to access, and traps both fine particles and large debris. Rinsing it out is quick and mess-free. 💡 Cordless & Hassle-Free: No messy hoses, no cords. It moves freely and charges easily. It really feels like a luxury upgrade. 🌱 Bonus Feature: ECO Mode (Yes, It Works!) This was a key selling point for me: ECO Mode runs a 45-minute cleaning cycle every 48 hours for 7 days—perfect for keeping the pool fresh and clear all week. At first I asked myself: How does the battery last a whole week if the full runtime is just 150 minutes? Here's what I learned: - Each ECO session is only 45 minutes - It runs about 3 sessions across the week (Day 1, 3, 5) - That adds up to ~135 minutes; A full charge covers this beautifully 🔋 Pro Tip: Make sure it’s fully charged before enabling ECO mode. And I recommend checking and cleaning the filter basket between runs—especially if your pool collects a lot of debris. I care for my tools with love, and they return the favour! 😊 💰 Is $980 Worth It? Yes—100% yes. Here’s why: - I save hours each week doing more valuable things - I no longer need to hire a pool cleaner - I enjoy continuous maintenance, not just occasional cleanings - My pool is always sparkling and swim-ready - The satisfaction it brings is real. 🧠 What Smart Features It Does Offer: WavePath™ 2.0 smart navigation Floor, wall, and waterline cleaning Auto & ECO modes Intelligent sensor logic 🚫 What It Doesn't Have: No manual remote control No WiFi, app, or real-time tracking But honestly? I never needed those. This robot is a set-it-and-forget-it dream. It thinks for itself, and gets the job done beautifully. All-In-All: This isn’t just a cleaning tool—it’s an investment in peace of mind, a sparkling pool, and a more enjoyable summer. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using the Aiper Scuba S1 for about a month now, and it’s definitely made my pool maintenance easier. The first thing I noticed is how well-built and sleek it looks. It's not just functional but also has a modern design that doesn’t feel out of place next to other high-end pool equipment. One of the best features is its WavePath 2.0 navigation system. Unlike some older models I’ve used, this one actually moves with purpose and covers the entire pool evenly. It’s great at picking up both large debris like leaves and smaller particles that settle at the bottom. The over-the-waterline scrubbing feature works surprisingly well too, which saves me a lot of time on manual cleaning. The battery life is impressive, lasting close to 150 minutes, which is more than enough for our 24-foot above-ground pool. Charging is straightforward and quick, making it easy to get back into action after each use. The debris tray pops out easily, and cleaning it is a breeze. However, the one downside is that it’s a bit heavy. When it's full of debris, lifting it out of the water can be a bit of a struggle. I had to be careful not to let any dirt fall back into the pool while transferring it. It would have been nice if it came with a telescoping pole for easier retrieval, but that’s a minor inconvenience. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the Aiper Scuba S1. It does a fantastic job of keeping our pool clean and is much more convenient than manual vacuuming. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient robotic pool cleaner, this one definitely deserves consideration.

We have an above ground pool, 12 foot by 54 inches high. Good enough for my husband and me and the grandkids if they want to swim when they come over. Opening the pool is always a pain. Fill it up, shock it and then clean it. The first couple of actions are not the pain but cleaning it is. This year with the weather we had significant algae that I had to go around the pool with the brush and brush the sides. Then I had to lug out the vacuum hose and do all that. Luckily I have the pool set up with a smart plug so I can hold the hose in the skimmer while I turn the pump back on. Life hacks right? This year I had issues again with my left upper arm due to an injury done to it. So cleaning wasn't peaches and cream, but I did it. When I saw the APIER Scuba S1 come up for review I thought I'd give it a go. I prayed it wouldn't damage my liner (it didn't) and kept my finger crossed all would go well. I was so fascinated by how it worked I stayed the whole time watching it work! It doesn't go as fast as the video AIPER posted here but AIPER Scuba S1 did the job in under an hour. I did have to go into the pool as the weights I attached to the pool thermometer got loose again so I had to pick that up as I didn't want the vacuum to pick that up. Btw, they do recommend you do not have your pool pump working at the same time at the vacuum. I don't know if you can see in the video a line of dirt at the 8 o'clock position. We also had a mini storm where leaves got into the pool. We have nothing but tress at the back part of the property (protected area) and when the wind blows a certain way, we get leaves. This time there wasn't much but I was impressed with the dirt it vacuumed up! Even with the manual brush/vacuum I had a hard time picking the dirt up. When charging the light bar will pulse and when fully charged the light will stay solid. The basket to collect the leaves and dirt is very easy to clean just use the hose to wash out the debris. You are also given a hook that attaches to the rod you use for the net and brush. The run time for the vacuum is 150 hours and you can have the vacuum be on 'auto' mode. This will do the walls and floor. Floors only. Wall only and Eco mode which will work for 45 minutes every 48 hours for one week when fully charged. Charge time is 4 hours. It will clean an area of 1600sq.Ft (150M squared) I took a star away because this would have benefited from having an app to run it. I also found the price a bit high. Overall I am happy with it and looking forward for once for the opening of the pool next year.
