Agepoch Telescopic Stainless Steel Fishing Hand Gaff Hook 35in 0.32lb Carp Aluminum Alloy Pole

I bought this gaff for the purpose of retrieving fish from my live well, which is located under my helm leaning post. I needed a short handled gaff for the purpose. This gaff has a telescopic handle that could not be secured in the closed position, and would fully extend out under any weight. The materials from which it was made were very cheap and looked as if it could not handle any moderate to hard use without failing.

Protection for point did break and -21 degees

I put a fish on and started to pull up out of the water and the hook end came completely out. There’s nothing built in to at least stop that from happening. So to me a waste of money.

So far so good, used it on 3 trips and has lasted.

Very light weight. Definitely not what it is described as. Being heavy duty for large fish!!
