Bought these for our two winter white dwarf hamsters. Hamsters forage and nest so they love tearing up things in search of food or to use for bedding.We put them on top of things or push them through paper or rattan tubes and houses, and they pull, scratch and bite on them to get them loose or just disintegrated. So funny to watch them carrying a stick around, trying to manouver it around the cage and finally putting it where they think it belongs. Other times you just find a little pile of colored paper, and the stick is no more.They will get destroyed, but that's the point. Also great for hanging up treats or other toys, just push it through a toilet paper roll and you can hang things on the ends, or even in the middle of the roll for a combined treat and obstacle course.Bought them while they were $5.47, wouldn't pay more than that and have actually started buying plain(white) paper lollipop sticks instead. You can get lots of them for a fraction of the price, and you have longer sticks available too. The colors are cute, but since only the outer layer is colored they're quickly stripped down to white anyway.Great sticks if color is important, otherwise they're just overpriced lollipop sticks.

While my birds do chew on these and like them, the price per stick is a bit high for my taste. Like the colors, but watch out as the color does bleed off.

My birds love to tear these up . That's how you know they love them. I'll be ordering them again. Super Bird has some great toys.
