This Evolution Rain Fly Tarp is fantastic. I recently started hammock camping and was looking for a tarp shelter large enough to cover my hammock and the pup's tent for a 100-mile thru-hike.The 12x10 size tarp gave us enough room to cover both our sleeping areas and kept our camp dry during an all-day rainstorm. It also did quite well when the winds speeds picked up. The Evolution Rain Fly's material didn't tear or rip, the guy lines held up wonderfully during the strong winds and kept us protected from the elements.I noticed the guy lines tend to tangle easily if you don't take the time to wrap them accurately. And getting a wet tarp back into its carrying pouch takes some fidgeting. I found it easier to ditch the carrying pouch and use a small grocery store plastic bag instead.But the tarp comes with 6 S Hooks, making setup and takedown quick and easy. And I liked the added survival bracelet. Definitely a nice bonus.I have used this tarp for 7 months now, from car camping to backpacking and in all kinds of weather. And after using the Evolution for 10+ trips, I can definitely say this is one great product.

Great tarp, light weight. For years I used a heavy duty tarp, you know the ones you get at Walmart. Now that being said I don't think I would use this as a ground tarp, it's made to go over head. And for the price I don't think you would go wrong. I would make sure you pitch this away from fire or your going to get little pin holes from embers.

This is a good, low cost rain fly. It is a bit bulky and heavy compared to my ultra light rain-fly from Sea to Summit. However, this fly costs considerably less, and is a bit larger. If you are car camping, or using for short hikes with camping, this is a good option. For extended trekking, hiking or other scenarios where size and weight are paramount, there are better (but more expensive) options.Pros: - Good size - Gromets for tarp poles - Included stakes and guy lines - LOVE the camo pattern, great for stealth campingCons: - Stuff sack is a bit too large, makes for tarp expanding to take up extra space - A little on the heavy side, but not bad - Waterproof is adequate, but touching underside does result in some leak through

Picked this up for a recent trip to the Adirondacks as a backup in case of weather. The rain fly is awesome, perfect size, great looking and the accessories fantastic. This rain fly kept me and my gear dry during the rain storms and made our trip that much more enjoyable. The best part is how compact it stores with the rest of my gear

This product is quality, shipped/received in under 24 hours and it did its job. Came with all strings, clips & stumps. I used it for that extra cover over the fire pit so it could still breath smoke around it. (Rained for 24 hrs) Thank you thank you

We are using it to cover our flybridge from bird poop. It works great, lightweight so easy to get up there and protects from the birds.

I was going to buy a 10x12 that cost more than double. I ran across this one & gave it a try. Immediately after receiving it, I set it up and hung my hammock setup under it just in time for several days of rain and then ice rain. Not a drop on my hammock or bedding. VERY Happy!

I ordered the 12'x10'. The claimed size is WAY off. New, out of the bag, its actually 11.5' along the ridge (that's fine, close enough), but at the bottom corners, it's only 8' (WAY short of 12') long in that same dimension. (It's not a rectangle). The dimension perpendicular to the ridge is 8.5', consistently (well short of 10'). It is polyester, so perhaps it will stretch to become closer to the claimed size once I start using it, but I can't imagine.Otherwise everything about it is good quality feel, materials. The material is like the rainfly of a good backpacking tent. I'm confident it will be waterproof until it gets worn out with age or torn. The carabiners are tiny and light but look like the will be useful and strong enough for normal light winds. Rope quantity, size, length all appropriate. Good aluminum stakes, storage bags. The whole kit seems purpose-built and thoughtful - just has the 6 attachment points you would actually use (2 at ridge + 4 corners) - no others that would just be superficial and add unnecessary weight and bulkiness.The included "survival bracelet" is utter nonsense and an obvious, disappointing marketing scheme to get dummies to buy this tarp, which can stand on it's own. They should remove it and have a little more integrity.4 stars for versatility because there's really only one good way to set this up, and you need 2 trees that are more than 13' apart but not so far apart that the ridge rope won't reach and go around the trees (unless you bring your own/more rope, or combine some of the extra included ropes to make it longer).4 stars overall because it's way smaller than claimed and I would prefer if it was an actual rectangle.

Utilisé en appoint d’une tente de camping, comme pare-vent avec deux piquets de 2 m. Impeccable !

Fab product that we are able to use in so many ways, from a front porch shelter for our tent using king poles to a stand alone shelter and so much more. It packs down soooo small and lightweight too. We did have a slight issue, i contacted the company and they immediately rectified the issue. I have to say, some of the best customer service I have received from a company.Will continue to use this brand, due to the quality of the product and the fabulous service 😀

Für den Preis sehr geringes Gewicht und kleines Packmass. Solide Befestigungen, komplett mit Seilen und Häringen. Sehr guter Kompromiss, wenn man nicht das dreifache ausgeben will.

El kit es muy completo para lo que pagas.Los mosquetones son metálicos y se sienten pesados, si te desenvuelves más o menos haciendo nudos, son prescindibles.Las piquetas, sin embargo, si que son ligeras, aunque de momento no puedo hablar de su resistencia...La pulsera, bueno, ahí tienes un poco más de cuerda, sin más, pero es un detalle, se agradece.En cuanto al tarp, hecho de menos algún anclaje más. Los que trae, vienen reforzados.Decir que de momento está opinión es recién sacado de la caja, todavía sin haberlo probado, así que la resistencia e impermeabilidad, de momento, son teóricas.En caso de contratiempos, editaria la reseña.
