My new favorite pan
It is a little bit larger than a typical 9 x 13 “ pan. It heats evenly. It’s my new “lasagna pan” because it can go straight from freezer to oven. It’s sturdy and well made. I love it.

Great product.
I love these pans. Please read cleaning instructions and these pans will last forever. Never put in the dishwasher but they are so easy to clean that is not a problem. I use plastic cutter/scraper to remove food and never have a problem. I have bought these for gifts, I like them that much.

Durable, great non-stick without PTFE or PFOA
Price/Quality: Excellent. Shipped and sold by Amazon.comPros. The aluminum alloy conducts heat well and is exceptionally durable. No warping, ever. They use a patented pebble patterned surface on the inside of the pan (think cobble-stoned road but the stones are flat) that creates an intrinsically non-stick surface. We have found the non-stick performance of Doughmakers products to at least equal but often exceeds that of PTFE or PFOA coated pans. An added bonus is the pebble pattern is part of the metal itself, so there is no coating to wear off or leach into food. Better still, this is a very green alternative since making and applying PTFE and PFOA emits greenhouse gasses and produces toxic byproducts. There will be less landfill since you'll own this pan for your lifetime of baking.Cons. Like all pans not coated with PTFE or PFOA, this pan will develop a brown, burnt-on residue from the oils and sugars from baked goods. Generally speaking this is usually an aesthetic issue - some folks don't like seeing this residue. Expect this residue on this pan. Also, any heavy residue on the pebble finish will slightly impair its non-stick performance and so, this pan will require good housekeeping on the pebble surfaces only. There are many excellent websites providing tutorials on how to safely remove burnt-on residue from aluminum surfaces. I do not considering cleaning these pans to maintain optimal non-stick performance to be onerous at all (e.g., it takes me about 3-5 minutes after each use to thoroughly clean the pan); the key is to stay on top of it.Bottom line: We own several Doughmakers pans and cookie sheets purchased over the years. Awesome product, consistently great value, delivers exceptional performance, and better for our health and environment (no PTFE and PFOA).

Great Pan!
I have had one of these pans for years, and used it constantly. I recently misplaced it during a move and can't live without it, so I purchased another, when I discovered you could still get them. I have just about all the sizes and shapes of this brand pans, which I purchased from Southern Living at Home 20 years ago. The only thing that is a pain is that you're not supposed to use Pam or other sprays to grease the pan, but these pans perform well and items turn out nicely browned.

This square pan and the 9x13 cake pan have been a favorite of mine as it makes the best brownies ever
I have used several kinds of doughmakers pans over many years . This square pan and the 9x13 cake pan have been a favorite of mine as it makes the best brownies ever! I can't say anything about the non - stick part of it, I always use crisco if it says to grease pan, I do. The pebbles alone are not going to keep things from sticking in my opinion. The cookie sheets however, I also use crisco IF it says to grease pans. I have never used any sprays because it says not to.I always wash in hot soapy water as soon as I'm done baking, using the safe scrubbing kind of sponges and the pans look horrible! Looks like a never wash them. So they DO hold grease down into the pebbles that is very hard to get off. I have taken a green scotchbrite to them to get it off and it does scratch so I wouldn't advise it but I hated the brown, yellow dirty look. I don't know why cookie sheets would show grease and not the others except for the fact that cakes and brownies are baked then pan is cleaned befor using again where as cookie sheets if your like me and only have one or two you love, you do in batches untill your dough is gone. I don't wash pans in between batches, maybe that's the reason. I have purchased a new cookie sheet and now use parchment paper instead of greasing pans and so far this has helped solve this problem. Don't put in dishwasher either, I let my daughter borrow mine and she ruined it:(

Wow, I'm impressed
I received my 9" X 13" pan quickly and it arrived in perfect shape. I was anxious to give it a try the following day by baking a chocolate cake. I didn't use shortening as recommended to grease the pan bottom, instead I used a light coating of butter on the bottom only of my pan before pouring the cake batter into the pan. Since this pan says it conducts heat very well, I also decided to bake my cake with the least number of minutes recommeded on the package directions. I'm sure glad I chose the lesser time because my cake was done following that time. I allowed the pan and cake to cool for about 40 minutes before I decided to remove the cake from the pan. First, I ran a silicon spatula around the edges of the pan, loosening the cake from the sides. Then I placed a sheet of parchment on the counter, inverted the pan with cake and placed it upon the paper, giving the bottom of the pan a few good taps with my hand and by golly, the cake fell right out into 1 large piece. Never has any baking pan or cake pan allowed me to do that trick. I might add afterward I placed the pan in the sink, ran warm water in it with a splash of dish soap, let it sit for about 15 minutes and washed it out with a wet, soapy paper towel. It looks like new! I'm loving this pan and excited to do more baking with Doughmakers products.

Buy it for life
These are the best! Strong with pleasant rolled edges. The lightly textured inner surface really does seem to help release baking, yet remains easy to wash. Didn’t know of Doughmakers brand, but these are excellent and I will look for their other products. It’s hard to find good owns because there is so much non-stick junk that needs to be replaced every few years. I was especially looking for a pan with a lid. That these ones have a snap-on metal lid, is one of their best features. This will probably become my go-to gift for wedding showers.

Another Excellent Product from Dougmakers
This is the second baking product I've purchased from Doughmakers and am once again very pleased. I like its sturdiness and its easy-clean surface. The mottled surface area works so much better than any of the traditional "non-stick" surfaces that are out there and I feel more confident about its quality than most other baking trays/pans that I own. I bought my first Doughmakers product in May 2020 here on Amazon (it was a jelly roll pan) and have fallen in love with their products since then. And no ... I didn't receive a free product for this review. : )

Sturdy and easy to clean
I ordered one initially after I got fed up with using the dishes made of aluminum foil. It is quite sturdy and durable.

A baking pan one can depend upon!
Just used this pan for the first time, in making a chocolate zucchini cake with a ganache topping. Turned out wonderfully. The pan cooked evenly, no burnt edges (as described by it's pebbly texture), cooled off before too long and washed up very well. This pan seems to be well designed and manufactured! Would very much recommend this baking pan !

Perfect for Tres Lecce
My wife needed a pan specifically for Tres Lecce cake...she is happy with the quality and durability of the pan and I can't complain either because I do quality assurance on everything she bakes and her Tres Lecce surpasses any other I've tasted. We ended up buying a second one for my dad.
