AWESOME PARROT/ BIRD SUIT!!!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My Green Cheek Conure hangs out with me ALL DAY and goes everywhere with me because of this flight suit. I created a video of how I put it on him and uploaded it. He doesn't like it on him of course, but who likes to wear clothes, right? He also LOVES to go everywhere. In addition, taking him places to see people has made him more social. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product.

Used to deprogram fear of hands.
Cute suit. This little suit made my bird love me. Pippin came to me very afraid. I had a hard time getting him out of the cage. He would thrash around the cage in fear. When he was out, he would lunge himself to the floor and then thrash about, so not to be caught. I just left him in the cage and tried slow fear de escalation training. Nothing worked. The times I did hold him, he just snuggled under my neck in a soft way. I thought, there had to be a way to reach him. I bought this little suit. It was traumatic getting him out of the cage. But once held, he settled in and showed his soft side. Getting him in to the suit was easy as I took it slow. Then I spent the day holding him. Every time he lunged to the floor I would go over and step on the end of the lead. This way he couldn't lunge away from me. End of story is this. He learned "up" and that my hands won't hurt him. After two days, no more suit. The fear was gone. Now the little bugger accidentally flies off his perch and waddles over to me to get picked up. This is not a typical use od this suit. My bird came to me traumatized by previous owners attempt to catch him. I have had other birds and have used flight suit for outside travel. This was a special condition. It worked.

Pricey
I did like the suit more than my pet Starling Maggie did. She absolutely hated it. She became so depressed she didn’t even want to eat!!! That’s a red flag right there, she truly hated it. But I enjoyed the fact that we were able to take her outside for the first time in her bird life, and we didn’t have to worry about getting pooped all over the place. I believe the whole set is a bit overpriced, the quality of the suit itself is not so far up there. The velcro could and does wear out fairly soon and by the time you realize it, your bird may have flown away from you. The “diapers” are nothing other than flattened cotton balls of the same kind used to remove make up, easily found in any Dollar Tree or 99€ Store. But the idea is definitely a winner, only needs some adjustments.

Velcro sticks and tears to material making it fray. My green cheek does NOT like it. I’ve tried getting him use to seeing it , etc but he’s just not having it. Perhaps it’s his personality?? He will be 6 months tomorrow so maybe he’s too young. I dunno. My husband got it on him like once and it looked like it was constricting him. I got the appropriate size based off your chart. I tried adjusting his wings and such but it was like he was having a freakin fit. As soon as I took it off he was still as can be. Anyways perhaps it’s my bird or his age or me. Either way he does not like it. I’ve tried for over a month and it doesn’t seem to be working with him.

Do not buy this!!!
Do not buy this. Not only did it not fit my greencheek conure like it said it would, but when I went to return it, they tried to charge me shipping and would not give me all of my money back because the package was open. How else am I supposed to find out if it fits or not???

Let The Small Birds Poop
Yikes! What can I say…bought the recommended size for my green cheek conure, but it was simply too big. Tried to ease him into it, eventually he was no longer frightened of the flight suit, but it was just too visibly uncomfortable for him. He’d chew it and chew it and become so distracted and overwhelmed that he’d just topple over trying to get the thing off. This is probably great for larger birds like cockatoos, but not for your smaller parrots. Not to mention, it’s hard to spring the money when it just doesn’t end up right for them. Just let ‘em poop!

Harnessing an angry conure is never easy
My green cheek hates it, but when I manage to get it on him, it does the job! I tried following the instructions and my green cheek still wants to kill the harness and puts up a fight when I put it on! I get bit a lot, but once it’s on, he forgets about it and does his thing.
