The bowl is pretty awesome and it cooks ramen to your specs. This also depending on the type of ramen and the strength of the microwave you use. In general it knocks it out the park. But if you’re a fan of those spicy red ramens and do challenges the red will stain the plastic over time and will be difficult to remove when cleaning. All in all it’s a good bowl and you can also use it for oatmeal or cereal. Plenty of uses.

Was hoping it would fit the larger round, Asian style, ramen packs perfectly. It was bigger than it needed to be and the round packs fit very small in it (so it takes more water to cook the ramen).The quality was very good and could be used for other things, beside ramen. The large square Asian style ramen packs fit in this, with a push down to fit, to make them fit in a round bowl.Since this is specifically for ramen, I was hoping the larger round ramen packs would fit perfectly (like the Rapid Ramen Cooker does for small square ramen), since it doesn't, have to put more water to get the height need to cook the ramen. If the bowl was maybe an inch or so, smaller in diameter, that it would be perfect.

Kind of hard to write a review, since it fails the original intent of cooking ramen rapidly. I have tried this in various microwaves and followed directions 100% and never gotten a single cooked noodle (have to cook it for 8-10 minutes, which is longer than it takes on a stovetop). It also isn't tall enough to keep water from boiling over and onto the bottom of your microwave. BUT, as a way to cook everything else in the microwave? It's brilliant. I use this bowl for nearly everything I make and it always turns out great. It's really good to use when making steam bags of veggies (sans lid) since you can easily remove it from the microwave without getting steam on you.

Love this dish, own two of them and most of the time we skip using the microwave as we have a hot water heater set up for tea and the like. We just dump the ramen in with seasoning, leave the lid on while doing something else and by the time the broth is comfortable drinking temp, noodles are cooked to.

Did not melt in microwave and cooked noodles. What else do you need to know? It fits shin ramyun noodles well and it fits square packed noodles. It's a bowl from japan. It works. Buy it.

If you eat ramen noodles often, definitly consider this! It makes cooking bagged ramen super easy and super good. I pop the my Gourmet Spicys for 5 minutes full power in the microwave and get amazing noodles that I can CARRY OUT OF THE MICROWAVE INSTANTLY because of the awesome handles.

Lid was cracked when received, but still does what it needs to do. Bowl only holds one package of ramen. Nothing special. I'm using it, but would not buy again.

This is a perfect piece of kit for preparing your Ramen Noodles. Either using in the Microwave or even for Noodles you prepare using Boiling Water and leave to cook.Nice big size that can even hold 2 packs of the smaller size noodle packets.Also easy to clean with no stupid creases or crevices that can let bits of food accumulate.Highly recommended for any Noodle fan ;-)

Excellent bowl for minutes ramen. Big enough to add eggs, vegetables and meats.
