Carmelina 'e…San Marzano Italian Cherry Tomatoes (Pomodorini) in Puree, 14.28 ounce (Pack of 12)

Its unique texture and sweetness can be delicious in the right dish, but it doesn't have the same savory quality of regular tomatoes though, so it takes some experimentation to capitalize on this unusual ingredient.

I love the canned cherry tomatoes more that all of the other types of canned tomatoes that are out there. I first discovered canned cherry tomatoes in The Hamptons and then searched for them everywhere. I had to buy them from Italian specialty stores in NJ until Amazon started carrying them. These are the best by far and they dissolve nicely in a sauce. Love, love, love.

First of all, the cherry tomatoes look great and probably taste the same.I'm very disappointed though that of the 12 cans, 10 of them were dented. Some had small dents, others rather large.For the record, the box had a small abrasion on one end, but the damaged cans were throughout.

Enough to make a quick pasta sauce for 2. Good flavor

Made two sauces, Veal Bolognese, and a Marinara. Skins on and did not remove or run through mill. Thin enough to dissolve or digest. Very bright, fresh taste. Different than large whole peeled. I would use again..

I love the cherry tomatoes 🍅 Delicious! I accidentally got the chopped first and they were also very good. So much better flavor than the ones that you get in groceries.

What we like best is that these tomatoes make a delightful pasta sauce. What we like least is that it is difficult if not impossible to find in local groceries.
