Airboat
Purchased this for our airboat that we hadn’t put poly on yet. A pain to apply just because it’s a little labor intensive but it worked really well and protected the bottom of our boat from deteriorating when pulling up on sand bars as well as allowing us to easily glide off with no issues. It held up almost a whole summer season and we go out every weekend. We applied multiple layers to make it extra thick but you could easily do one layer depending what you’re using it for.

Great product
I re-built this boat from the ground up. Put the super slick on the bottom and the boat slides up and off the trailer with ease. I often beach this boat and deer hunting the shoreline. Seems very durable and remains slick. I have picked up 2 mph of speed also with my little 25 hp outboard. Overall very pleased.

Great product!
This stuff is slick! After 24 hours of curing I was amazed at how slippery the boat feels. After sitting in my garage for a few days, the slick doesn’t feel the same. I prepped my aluminum V Hull boat as instructed. Cleaned it thoroughly with acetone after paint removal was completed. When I mixed the product I was surprised at how quickly the product seemed to thicken. Workability was short as it set very fast. Initially the coat appeared very even. After curing for a few days I see the coating took on a faded appearance and it crinkled. Not sure what happened as I’ve seen other users achieving a better, uniform finish. It did cover and adhere well to all the rivets and joints which was my key goal. Next is putting the boat on the water to see if the leaky rivets are sealed. I’m confident this will do the trick.Update: was able to get the boat on the water earlier this week. After spending 4 hours fishing, sadly there was water intrusion. I don’t blame the product as I was able to find the source. I failed to coat a seam properly which led to water trickling slowly. Total was about a gallon of water in the boat. Not much compared to how bad it used to be. I call it a win overall. Oh and this coating made the boat glide much easier on the water.

Very thick, even with pigment it's still see-through
My application experience mirrors Flatlander's review from Nov 20, 2023. It was so thick and sticky that it would pull the fuzz off the paint roller. I followed the Fasco website application instructions exactly. Even with maximum pigment and four coats it is translucent. It is NOT like paint. I have spent a lot of time restoring a 50 year old Gheenoe that had been painted three different colors. The bottom is the original brown where I sanded and added fiberglass to the worn-down keel, and it had also been painted beige on 2/3 of the boat. I thought that this would cover all of that, however the bottom is now a calico mixture of white, beige, brown and natural fiberglass. Prior to buying and applying the epoxy, I read the Fasco application instructions, tips and product info on their website, and I haven't found anywhere where it says that this could happen. If I had known, I would have painted the bottom first. It is still curing, so I can't speak to durability or slickness.****01-10-2024 update: It is SLICK! After it cured I flpped it over on the sawhorses to work on the transom. It kept trying to slide off! I had to tie it off to a large anchor to keep it on the sawhorses.
