I've used this soldering kit to replace joystick modules on my Switch Pro Controllers. I've replaced SEVERAL controllers (10 modules so far... I play a lot of Smash Ultimate.) I highly recommend this particular soldering iron. I like the functionality, the tips, the iron holder, and the display. It has everything needed to get the job done! I do however recommend getting some chipquik if you plan on replacing any joystick modules. Old solder can be a pain to remove.

Awesome soldering iron for the price, I’ve used this to solder my guitar pickups, and rc cars. The temp control feature is awesome, it’s not a heavy unit by any means, and relatively small. I’ve had soldering iron for almost 2ish years, no issues.

Lots of nice accessories which I really didn't need. I don't really care for all the digital stuff and settings, but it does the job well enough. I should have purchase the less expensive one with an analogue dial for the temperature.

It is refreshing to order a product that exceeds your expectations. This is one of those. Pleased to say the least with this purchase. Heats up in a flash, the gun is very comfortable and well-balanced, the cord gives you plenty of breathing room, the on/off switch is very convenient, setting your temperature is a breeze, comes with an assortment of different tips, and the station components are great! Tweezers are actually useful and precise, and even the solder sucker performs well. For those just getting into soldering, using the sucker, or sny sucker, takes time to perfect the procedure to make these tools do their job as desired. The window of a pool of solder to be sucked is very finicky and short. Don't get frustrated, just understand it will take practice to be efficient. THIS PRODUCT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Let me first caveat by saying that I don't have experience with high-end hacko it other soldering irons, as I am technically an amateur. That's it, for what this thing costs, it gets the job done. The solder that comes with it however, not so good. Ended up pitching it. Definitely order yourself some better solder and better flux when you buy this

DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED SOLDER! I bought this to do some work on my guitar. It is a solid upgrade from the wands that just plug straight into the wall. However, I had to CRANK the heat to get the included solder to work properly, and it was terrible. I bought some decent quality solder and tried again. MUCH better.

The product does its job, but its very cheap...the plastic, the connectors.

This soldering station worked well. The temperature control is fairly accurate mine is roughy +\- 5 degrees. It takes an extra 30 second or so for the tip of the iron to reach the displayed temp. For the price it was a great purchase.

No joke, just like many others said, within seconds it burnt itself out. The temp control circuit is garbage and sent the thing through the roof. Made a puff of smoke and an audible POP and the ceramic heater was toast.... quite literally. Apparently there have been many others with this same issue. I figured it was an early issue and had been fixed since the initial release but apparently not or they still have old stock they're selling because I was shocked that this did this. Otherwise this was literally the perfect soldering set for me. The display was very nice and easy to read. The iron itself was comfortable and easy to use. Just the circuitry let it down in a big way. I put in for a replacement but it never arrived. Seller claimed it was out of stock. Just AVOID THIS ONE at all costs. Don't be like me and think "oh that'll never happen to me!" It will and you're just wasting your time. With both trying out this faulty item and by patronizing this seller. Trash trash TRASH!
