Balega Exercise Socks, Cushioned, Mesh, Fit, Running Socks

I love these socks. Very comfortable and thick but not too thick that it affects wearing my joggers.

I'm not a runner. On a good day, I'm a big butt walker with some light jogging/wheezing intervals. But after a particularly horrible half marathon, I decided to "pimp my outfit" before the next race to make the process the least painful it could possibly be. These cushy, "running" socks got added to that list. I didn't think something as simple as socks would make a difference, but I was quickly proven wrong. It's been a couple years and a handful of half marathons later, and these socks are still in great condition - no holes, still cushy, still good color (although somewhat faded at the top). In comparison to my "normal" workout socks, these give me an extra bounce in my step and feel extra supportive. I don't want to say "like a hug for my feet"...but there's truly no other way to describe it. I signed up for my first full marathon next year, and for the first time ever, I'm going to ask for socks for Christmas lol.
