My 5yo enjoyed this book! We will enjoy having this in our Christmas book rotation. Short and sweet perfect for bedtime.

Update: Still requested nightly from Mov.- Dec. by my now-7-year-old.I got this last year for my then 3-year-old, construction-obsessed boy and he loves it still, a year later. I put it away after Christmas and pulled it out again after Halloween to read for the season this year. This is actually one of my all-time favorite children’s books. I choose it for our reading time even more often than my son does! So essentially we read it every day and it doesn’t get tiresome at all. It is a fun story that progresses through the building of the site (you do have to suspend believe since they build the whole thing in a day, but hey, it’s fiction), the rhymes are fun and roll off the tongue while at the same time it’s easy to follow the story. The rhymes don’t get in the way at all. The illustrations are charming, and the ending is fun and sweet. This book hits it out of the park for children and the adults who read it to them. It also has a strong “book smell” because of all the ink on the pages, so that’s a bonus! We love “book smell,” lol.

Absolutely love the "Construction Site" books, The holiday themed books are great ideas for a gift on the holidays. There are 2 Christmas books, a board book and then this one the paper one.I gave both of them to 2 little boys that I nanny for and they LOVE these books. I gave the board book to a 2 year old and the hard cover to a 4 year old.

The media could not be loaded. This is a hardback book which is a big selling point for me when I think of my kids, especially my boys. My boy loves all things, tractor, construction, and heavy equipment so this was the perfect Christmas gift for him.

We love these books, usually a every night pick. They all have good story line.

My son is obsessed with construction vehicles at the moment and this book was his absolute favorite over Christmas. Pictures offered just enough detail to keep him focused while the text had a nice story line. Great gift idea as well!

Colorful and captivating illustrations bring this happy Christmas story to life! Sure to be every little boy’s favored book, especially if they enjoy construction vehicles and trucks . Don’t pass it up if you want a book to cheer that special boy. I would recommend ages 3 to 8.

Cute book. Good for toddlers who like big machines but are just learning what they all do. Talks about gifts each machine is getting to help them do their job and it's a good bedtime story.

The colours are a bit dark but my son loves it!!
