Understanding Peyronie's Disease: A Treatment Guide for Curvature of the Penis

"Understanding Peyronie's Disease" is an informative and easy to understand book for the layman. My husband has what's considered a "slight" curvature that sent us to a Urologist. This book helped us come up with questions to ask the dr. There are treatments out there ranging from Verapamil cream, vitamin E, Acetyl L-Carnitine, penile stretchers and surgery. We sought 2 opinions. One Urologist was on the conservative end (cream and vitamins). The other was on the other extreme (a newer, improved and less risky out-patient surgery performed in his office). It's alot to think about and obviously very stressful for both partners. What one dr said made alot of sense. The curvature is caused by scar tissue buildup. Creams and pills won't dissolve or remove tissue, only surgery will.

With limited treatment available for this disease, the book was very helpful to my husband who is struggling to cope.

a lightweight of a book...U can easliy find more and better info on any website...save your money....don't buy this book....
