Velvet Rope Women's Satin Knit Mockneck Short Sleeve Thong Bodysuit

I am petite and it is a great fit

The top styling of this top is cute and flattering. It's capable of going with lots of different pants and skirts for a cute casual-to-dressy look. However, I'm not crazy about some of its features.On the top I got, there is a big pucker sewn into one of the sleeve seams, which can't be smoothed out. It looks like one of those lumps you get when you hang a sweater badly and get hanger bulges on your clothes, but this one is permanent. Also, the body of this top is very short. I'm a short woman, and it is short on me. The snaps are small and hard to snap closed. Because it is so short and the fabric is fairly dense, the thong style is quite uncomfortable.Although I'm pleased with the way this looks, it just doesn't work for me.

The fabric is very unpleasant to the touch, and it does not look nice, either.It is not really small around the body, it would fit me well, except it is so short in the crotch, it is totally unwearable as intended. It might fit a person with really short torso, but it does not fit me at all, even though the fabric is quite stretchy. The mock neck is not your usual mock neck - they did not make a separate piece to go around your neck, the cut the neckline higher up and folded the fabric. Since people usually have necks that sit lower in front than in the back, this kind of cut makes it for strangling you since fabric tries to pull your neck backwards. It is really uncomfortable, too.

The Velvet Rope (an Amazon.com brand) garments I've seen / tried are one-piece, clingy and figure hugging. These are going-out garments, think night clubs, cocktail parties and the like. True to “bodycon” style, Velvet Rope garments are primarily polyester with something stretchy added in, like spandex, for elasticity that hugs the figure. My opinion of the garments vary, despite all being labeled Velvet Rope.The Thong Bodysuit, fresh out of the packaging, felt good, soft and stretchy. It looked promising with cute cap sleeves and a turtleneck. Construction looked good with tight, evenly stitched seams. The issue is it's too short in the torso. It couldn't comfortably be snapped closed. A larger size might have a longer torso, but then the overall fit would suffer. If not for that, I would have rated it much higher.

Polyester, straight up! I got it because I liked the style of the top, but I knew the material was made up 90%+ polyester. I was hoping that the poly wouldn’t be so obvious, but it is. Let’s just say the top came in time for a Halloween costume. ;)Other than that, maybe it can be a party piece? I’m 5’ and the shirt is well fitted. It’s a bodysuit so lengthwise it wasn’t too bad either, it even snaps on the bottom smoothly.

First, this is absurdly undersized. I'm usually able to fit into most things as I have a tendency to be thin but this is so short from the neck to the waist as to not even begin to fit...at best, this should be labeled for "petite" sizing or perhaps even girls rather than women. I'm not that tall and there is absolutely no possible way to wear this.
