The bed itself doesn’t look bad, but poorly made. This bed has a HUGE FLAW though, the bottom of the backboard doesn't allow you to have a box spring with the mattress, if you put both, the mattress over laps at the foot of the bed because it doesn't allow it to rest on the entire box spring because of the backboard. If you try to put the mattress alone, you only have three iron beams going across the bottom to hold up the mattress, This bed requires a box spring although you can’t use one. No solution

King size review. Arrives in one large box. Assembly is straightforward and I did it alone. I would highly recommend some blue treadlock for all of the bolts- I’ve assembled furniture like this before and every time the bolts will become loose after a few months. The quality is quite nice, the welds look good and the fabric is pleasing and seemingly appears durable. I was impressed at this price point.

PSA!!This bed frame DOES NOT come with any matress foundation (aka the wooden/plastic/metal “ribs” that the matress lays on). It only have THREE metal bars supporting the entire matress. You will NEED a box frame to support whatever matress you put on this frame. Factor in at least $90 for a 5-inch Zinus Box frame which is the cheapest option I found on Amazon.Also, make sure that the total thickness of both the box frame and matress combined is 10-inches or less! There is no clearance between the frame and the headboard for anything more than that and your mattress will overhang your box frame and look really bad.If you don’t get a box frame because your matress is already 10-inches thick, you’re screwed. Doesn’t matter how good your mattress is, with only 3 bars supporting it you will have MAJOR dipping in the middle which may lead to serious back pain like it did for me... so factor a visit with your chiro into the price of this product as well..At the moment I’m stuck with my bed looking like my attached photo cause I have no other alternatives.The seller should disclose all of this in the listing. It’s entirely unfair to have to find out the hard way and suffer financially and physically as a result.

It looks great! I was a little hesitant to buy when I read all of the reviews and issues with box spring and the mattress hanging off.IMPORTANT: you don’t need a box spring!! We have a memory foam mattress that typically goes on a platform frame. I went to Home Depot and had eight 2” x 1/2” planks of wood cut to 75” (for the king) to place vertically to act as the “box spring”. It’s stable and was only $17. Way better than buying a box spring!!! NOTE: after placing the 8 vertices slats I wish I would have gotten 10 or 12 of them just so I could place them closer together. Every 6” is stable enough for us, but without a box spring I think a few more would be better in hindsight.

This is a great bed frame for the price. It is basically a bed frame with a headboard. It is not a platform bed. You will need a base or boxsprings for this to work. I got a piece of plywood and fitted it and protected the 12" mattress and it sits perfectly. It's a stable bed and looks fantastic. Very modern looking and looks more expensive than it is. I like it and would by it again easily.

My husband and I finally got the King bed we wanted and needed a new bed frame without breaking the bank. After some research, came across this frame with the black faux leather cushioned headboard, matching side rails, and baseboard. The three middle rails are metal and attach to side rails and seems to be very sturdy so far! We are very impressed! The mattress is extremely heavy, coupled with two box springs under it, and my husband and I are not tiny people but this frame is strong, and we are loving the look! It has been a key find and cannot beat the price! The major plus is neither of us shake the bed waking up the other when turning over so for the first time in a very long time, both of us have been having quality sleep again...as is our Husky rescue! It's a great frame and we highly recommend!

I wanted a nice looking/Very sturdy bed. My bed search started at other locations. A friend suggested I look on amazon, I was a little unsure due to a prior one I ordered that was not sturdy at all. This bed was delivered very quickly/ boxed well and super easy to put together I did it myself. It took about 2hrs. This bed has a strong metal frame/ head board is secure and I purchased a 4 inch metal/wood box spring due to the frame of the bed only has three bars. The legs of this bed are also metal and do not have a way to fall, they are bolted in. The box frame sits down in the bed frame and with mattress it all is secure. Nothing on this bed slides anywhere, no creaking, or squeaky box frame. Unlike my old bed this one holds up to our adult activities with no problems. I'm very happy with my purchase, would highly recommend this bed.

First of all, this bed has only THREE bars for the mattress. I've bought and assembled many beds, this one is by far the strangest. Three bars for the mattress means you must get a box spring. Because if you put a mattress on the three bars, the mattress will fold and you will sink into the ground.Second of all, if you have a "normal" sized mattress you have to measure the clearance for what size mattress can fit. We bought a regular sized box spring but the regular sized mattress would not fit and it would sit several inches longer at the top. Because the boxspring and mattress must fit UNDER the headboard.Thirdly, the base of the bed is way too big for a standard size twin mattress / box spring. There is about a 2-3 inch gap on either sides of the mattress. So the box of the bed is both too wide and the length of the bed is too short. Whoever designed this thing gets a failing mark.The assembly process is pretty middle of the road, however, the hardware is decent.

I ordered two beds, for the same price. Zinus had sturdier Metal bed frame AND slats to hold the mattress and this one has NO slats and half smaller frame. I would not buy again this bed or brand of beds

I ordered this bed frame a couple months ago and it came with missing pieces for the headboard the things that make it touch the floor And it also was missing holes to attach the head board to the bed frame it’s self so my head board is just not attached and the posts that hold your box spring and mattress up bent as soon as I layed down this product is not worth the money find a better one more sturdy!:(

The bed frame was easy to assemble and instructions were basic but not tricky. Not sure yet about the sturdiness. Time will tell but the quality matches the price.
