Vegan Leather Messenger Bag for Tablets - Unisex Crossbody Carrying Case and Sling Satchel

I don't leave reviews. But this bag is amazing.I ordered the posh tan. It's made from a beautifully burnished and finished leather, slightly waterproof and a nice natural tanning that is colourfast so no staining on my clothes like those useless bags from China. The weight of leather chosen is correct- not artificially thick to try to convince you to buy a bulky heavy bag in the hopeit will last, but a durable, properly tanned hide that doesn't weigh more than your stuff will! The colour and apperance is exactly as per the picture (save natural variations in hide). It will no doubt wear even better. It looks great in a professional setting with a suit and with jeans too and is roomy enough for my IPAD and Dell XPS 13 without being bulky.The strap is superb- a strong, professional grade webbing of the correct proportional width with the leather stitched on, edges on all parts including are turned and stiched and reinforced at the right points and the strap is long enough to use a a cross body bag. The other Chinese versions I tried had useless, weak, skinny straps, and cheap harware. This hardware is solid brass- not that cheap and fragile bobbit metal they supply in the Chinese versions. Interor and exterior finish is outstanding- the attention to quality has really impressed me- both the choice of an elegant striped brown fabric, the quality zippers, extremely neat stiches and the two pockets inside. The stitching on this bag is laser straight and tracks the rounded corners with near zero variation- it must have been done by a craftsman with exceptional skill.If you want a beautifully designed, elegant, superbly finished and handcrafted genuinely quality product to last a few decades, buy this one. Don't waste your time with the rest like I did.I looked for months for the right bag. The colour, the fit, the finish and the quality of this one stand out. It has the hallmarks of a product made by a true craftsman and has clearly been quality checked throughly before being shipped. My motto is to always by the best quality I can, and at this price this product is an absolute bargain. Just buy it and be happy with a lifetime investment.

This bag looked great in the picture, and it looked even better when it arrived. Blemish free, perfect condition. Was pleasantly surprised how well and sturdy it was constructed. Heavy duty zippers in the right place and smaller zippers in the right place. Flap over design with magnetic button is very functional providing instant access to secure contents. Nice internal divider. Holds iPad's, small laptops like Dell XPS 13 (which I own), 8.5" by 11" docs very well. Very satisfied with this purchase. Excellent quality for a great price. Five well deserved stars.

Nice, quality leather bag. Has ample pockets on inside. Only complaint is the strap is not all leather.

A half a year ago, I very sadly lost the other Purple Relic bag I owned (long story) so I put this one on my wish list and waited for it to go on sale. When it finally did, I purchased it right away. What can I say, I love a Purple Relic bag. The first Purple Relic bag I owned was leather; this time I bought the "vegan" leather bag because I liked the color of this one more (though nothing beats the smell and feel of real leather). This bag is the perfect size for me, not as big as a full sized messenger bag but bigger than a typical purse. During the week, I carry my day planner, wallet, keys and other odds and ends and on days off I like to carry my Kindle tablet. There are plenty of compartments for anything I might need. Also the padded cross body strap is a big plus. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this bag and look forward to using this one for years to come.

I have to start out with saying, I love the satchel. The inside is a little narrower than I anticipated, but I've learned to work with it. The color of the leather was a little on the orange side when I received it, but it is getting darker as it's being used. I had read the reviews about the stitching coming loose/out after the 30 day return window was closed. So, I was sure to check the stitching periodically to catch it before the return window closed. All was well until yesterday. I noticed that the stitching is coming out on the side where strap is sewn onto the body of the purse... imagine my disappointment. I love this purse. I envisioned using this purse until my dying day. I am not one to buy purses for short term use. When I find one I like I use it until it's worn out. I thought I could contact the seller and ask for a recommendation how to fix it. But it doesn't seem like I can. If the seller/creater of this purse is reading this, please contact me. I would love to change my one star to a 5 star.****edited**** I contacted the seller, and they issued a % refund to help cover the cost of repair since the return window had closed. They don't have a way to repair these items under warranty. Thank you Purple Relic for your attention to this matter!***edited 12/06/2020***The other loop on strap tore apart. Luckily, I caught it before it tore apart completely. I fixed it by gluing back together with gorilla glue. Would I buy this again? Not sure. It was $60 and real leather that has aged beautifully, but I've had to repair the strap that should have held up longer than 2 years. Therefore, I'm changing my rating to a 3 star due to strap issue.

I love this bag. I bought it to replace a very low-quality bag I received with a cosplay. While the other bag fell apart after one wear, this bag is super sturdy and durable. It's my new favourite - so far I've worn it for one full day of walking in Salem, MA, and for one full day of walking at the Ren Faire. I only had to switch shoulders once, about halfway through the day. The bag is beautiful, too, and well worth the price.

My day planner this year was larger than my everyday bag....so I decided to find a new one. Saw this bag and figured it could work for my needs.Then it arrived.I'm in love! Well constructed, beautiful, wonderful texture, and more pockets then I expected. Works perfect for my needs!

This bag was a perfect gift for my husband! He loves it because it looks rugged and it’s also big enough to hold everything he wants to carry while not being too big or bulky! The quality is great, this product is beautifully and clearly, carefully made. Great product. Would definitely recommend!!!

The bag itself seems reasonable but the colouring us far more yellow than I would have hoped for. Not as attractive as the pictures make it out to be, and is a very feminine style, not a man bag at all.
