Frame broke after only a couple months.
I liked them but the frame broke after wearing for only a couple months. Having trouble at the moment dealing with the so called "LIFE TIME WARRANTY". Will update this review once I get some satisfaction.UPDATE:I did get a replacement due to their lifetime warranty shortly after writing this initial review. However, the hinge broke again in the same spot after the same amount of time. Now have to send in for another replacement.

Arms sized for smaller men and women. One size fit all doesn't work for glasses...
The quality of most of the sunglasses is great but the one size fit all approach just doesn't work. If you're blind buying glasses over the internet pay attention to the size of the actual lenses, bridge, height and arm to know if they are going to fit you. (already knew this which make me feel even worse), I made the mistake of going with the sale hipe and bought this sunglasses and ended with arms that are made for smaller guys and girls. I'm not a big guy, 179cm, normal sized head and the arm, due to the small length and pronounced curvature for the ears are ridiculously small in me. All my glasses arms are either 140mm or 145mm and fit fine. I would suggest to William Painter to first state the sizes of the glasses and offer different sizes like all other makers do. For you buyers, look elsewhere if you are 165cm or taller. Also, I asked at two different optical shops and they said they don't recommend heating and straighting the arms as the material would end fragile and brake easily... By the way, I tried there the ray ban justins and the arm fit perfectly...

Good at first, great after a while.
Well-made and will form slightly to your head. Bought them on sale (~45$) and feel very confident in my purchase.1+ year checkup - These things are holding up incredibly well. I'm not very careful with them if I'm honest. They are holding up very well against scratches and have no structural issues. I wear them almost every day and feel like I will for more years to come. Changing from 4 to 5 stars.

"The Sloan" is NOT Titanium like the title says (as of August 2020)
1. Title says "WIlliam Painter The Sloan Titanium Sunglasses"...they are NOT titanium. I understand that in the listing, it says the frames are nylon, but it's a bit of false advertising is it literally says titanium in the title, and in all of their commercials (says nothing about nylon..says "We make our frames from aero-grade titanium"2. They are heavy on the nose area. They stay on really well, I'll give them that, but they are a bit too heavy.3. The hinges on these things are loose/squeaky, and feel cheap honestly. Says made in China right on the inside of them ( I know I know, lots of sunglasses are made there, but they didn't make it out to seem that way)4. If you'e tall, I'd look elsewhere. I'm 6' 3", but skinny, and these didn't fit my face at all. My own fault for not understanding how to read the sizing on the frames/description, but just a warning for anyone.5. I wanted to find a reason to not just wear Oakleys all the time, like I have been doing for 15 years. Sadly, my first impression of William Painter wasn't a good one. I fell into the hype and funny advertisements, and bought a pair. Granted, I got these for half off when Amazon was having a sale in late July 2020.If I decide to buy another pair, I'll probably go with "The Level". I like the style of "The Sloan" (same as the hook without bottle opener). I would get the hook, but I don't have a use for the bottle opener, and seems kinda pointless to me. Just wish I could get the same style, without the bottle opener, in TITANIUM, and not NYLON.Overall, I'm sure William Painter is working out the kinks in their products, staff (whoever wrote this item title), and etc. I'd be down to buy again, but I'd have to have a good reason

No a good fit.
Did not fit well. Returned and bought a Rayban.

Very light with good fitment.
Extremely light but very good and tight fitment. It was so light, that it almost felt cheap to me. I have this issue where I perceive heavier glasses to be of quality and light of cheap quality, which is not always true. I'm used to wearing my RB's with the glass lens so it has to heft to it. This is an ultra light body with an light nylon lens. Quality product, don't let the weight fool you. Hopefully next time I can save some money to purchase the titanium version in the future.

She loved them) These are awesome sunglasses
I originally got a pair of these from a friend after he got a two for one deal last year. I ended up losing them but when I saw a sale for $54/pair, I immediately jumped on it (I accidentally ordered two pairs and gave one away to a friend. She loved them)These are awesome sunglasses. You can knock them around a bit and they have some weight to them. My Ray Bans are great, but they always seem so fragile. The latest pair I got seems to be a bit tighter on my head than I remember and I think my old ones were polarized. I'm not sure why they feel tighter. If I got another pair I'd order the polarized ones. But, overall William Painter makes great sunglasses which are reasonably priced especially when there is a sale!

Good bang for the buck!
These are pretty cool sunglasses I must say. I bought some Oakley’s for 30 dollars more than I purchased these at, and I must say I’m digging these much more. They feel lightweight and the only thing I would want to improve on with these are the size of the Lens, or at least give the option to change it.
