I just bought 2 more of these as they have proven to be exceptional carabiners at a reasonable price. I use carabiners along with a climbing rope to hike with my dog. This allows him to run 25 feet ahead or lag 25 feet behind me yet he is still leashed. My dog has broken a few cheaper carabiners from lunging but so far these tough guys have held up wonderfully.This past memorial day weekend I was hiking with my sister and she got stuck in the current of a river. The banks were so slippery she couldn't get out. I used my dogs rope/Carabiner combination to pull her out. The rope wrapped around my waist with the carabiner hooked and sent the loose end to her. Got her pulled out in no time. I definitely recommend this carabiner though probably not for actual climbing.

I had some carabiners rated at 500 pounds from I bought from Home Depot originally, and they had become out of shape and the lock piece was not lining up anymore. I found these rated for 1100 lbs, and thought I would give them a try, as they also had tubular lock as well. They were nice and light weight compared to other ones I had, and a little smaller. However they worked well with my setup, and so far are doing really well. I only had them on for a month or so before I had to put away for storage durning winter. We will see how well they handle next spring, when I bring it out again.

I ordered this to carry my keys and the screwgate feature was the main reason. It looks good and of decent quality. I'm am currently pleased with the product but have only had it for one week so I can't give it an honest review only time will tell.

I know this isn't exactly what it was designed for, but I bought this to use on my 80 lb Akita puppy's leash. He gets excited and doesn't know his own strength. Most of the snaps that come on leashes can pop open easily or break and there goes your dog. This locking carabiner works perfectly!! It's light weight and doesn't act like an anchor on the leash. And because it locks, even the most determined dog can't pop it open. Now if I could just find a leash as good as the clasp........ :-)

These are probably the most stylish carabiners I've owned. The splash of color and the mettle finish look really sharp on by backpack. I love that the latch screws in so I can have peace of mind that it won't randomly unclip. The product has a good weight to it and feels like it'll last forever.

I'm using these carabiners to secure gear that doesn't require quick-releases on a buoyance control unit (BCD) for scuba diving. I chose the locking carabiners to prevent accidental opening and locking onto 'stuff’ in the water that I don't want to have happen. The locking rings appear relatively easy to work with thin gloves. Overall, these carabiners appear very robust and safe for my intended use.

Update: this carabiner survived my Hubby loosing them on the road on his bike. Ran over MULTIPLE times by vehicles and NEVER FAILED!! All keys in tact!! 20/10 stars!!! Sturdy AF!!!I purchased because I kept loosing a set of keys off of my keyring. Works like intended! Locks securely yet allows easy unlocking for access.

Honestly I have very much loved this product and beyond received what my expectations ever were. Honestly I'd recommend these to anyone looking for study long term durability product. Got them in 2019 and now 2024. Honestly consider buying more for spares.
