I've bought a lot of expensive saxophone straps since I got my first saxophone in January 2017, one of them at least twice the cost of this one. Ciel Music's sax support strap is both lightweight and very secure with my soprano and alto saxes. I'm only a little less secure with it on my tenor sax, but I think that if the shoulder pieces were made just an inch or two longer I'd be just as secure using it with my tenor as I am when using it with my soprano sax. -- The reason I'd like that extra inch or two is that I'm a large (and heavy) person and need the length to make up for the extra size in my shoulders. I believe that anyone who is not "extra large" in the shoulders would feel very secure in using this strap with a tenor sax.Next to feeling my sax is secure, the ability to position it and to change the position easily and quickly is my next highest priority. I can change the sax position without changing anything else in a limited range, but with the double sliders it's quick and easy to shift from playing on one side, to the front and on to the other side -- so you can have any of your "best" sides facing the audience without losing the best positioning for your sax.And, being human, I want all those vital things *and* to be able to move freely and comfortably the whole time-- and that's exactly what I got with this sax support strap.I'm looking forward to my next sax lesson ... my teacher will be green with envy!

This is an excellent product. Well made. Sharp looking. Highly polished metal hook and thumb sliders, and adressed leather-look on sturdy shoulder straps. It won't detract from performance attire. Easy on and off. Stores in case. Doesn't tangle up. The double sliders are easy to move and precisely adjustable. I bought it for a 6th-grade female student with neck discomfort. I made one small bend to shape the shoulder stays to her. They do not bend easily, so they will stay as you want them. Completely takes the pressure of the cervical spine. The design is such a simple one, and a great idea! I think it's overpriced, but it's worth it!

I didn’t like it

I purchased this product several months ago and should have returned it. The shoulder harness is comfortable but the neck cords do not hold my alto saxophone securely. It drifts down as I am playing. I see no way to tighten it.
