This beautiful barn-style greenhouse gives you a year-round growing space in an attractive, heavy duty aluminum frame and 10mm twin-wall panels. Engineered to perform in the most harsh environments. The Grandio Elite's rugged durability, makes it the most insulated of the greenhouses on the market and it's barn shape design is both elegant and functional, and allows plenty of growing space. Made to meet the highest standards of amateur and professional gardeners, the 1.6mm profile aluminum frame provides a stronger and more durable build than its competitors and won't warp, melt, or crack like the PVC-based barn-style greenhouses. And the heavy-duty construction coupled with 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels provide and the perfect thickness for winter insulation. A wide range of features and accessories culminates in a well ventilated growing space with gliding double doors, an easy-to-assemble system, and an insulation (R) value of 1.89 and heat loss (U) value of 0.65 resulting in an amazing gardening and greenhouse experience. The doors are hung from above which eliminates jamming and the door wheels are made from nylon for durability. The door wheel bolt is turned from solid brass with a smooth shank to reduce wear on the wheels.

Incredible engineering, wonderful greenhouse!
Ok... I want you all to know in my long life I've seen many greenhouses of all types and materials. This greenhouse is absolutely an engineering marvel. I am so glad I searched dozens of kits before finally taking the plunge with this one. Yes these (like many quality items) are expensive. Now here's the "but"... yes expensive BUT apparently here, you REALLY do get what you pay for. Although time consuming to assemble such a large building (and the instructions were wrong in 3 spots), it's very intuitive to see what needs to be done. It took us about 3 days (7-9 hours a day) to fully assemble at a very leisurely pace. Once you read the directions and get into the flow things speed up as you move along. Slow to start as you get used to the way the directions guide you then you move into high gear once 30-40% framed. We actually had FUN because it all went together so well... no frustrating backtracking or unbolting of things just bolted together. Just a VERY well designed, awesomely engineered building. It's rock solid in 35-38 mph winds we had and 3-4" of snow. We do have it anchor bolted to a concrete slab but I think as long as you take time to build a SOLID foundation you're going to love this building. Personally I wouldn't trust installation in dirt using the provided anchorage bolts. I'd at least anchor the bolts in 12" sonotubes buried 2 feet in the ground filled with concrete... simply because the greenhouse is super light and acts as a huge sail in the wind. It's built tough but it's light! In short I'm 100% recommending this greenhouse with 10mm thick panels!!!

Assembly nightmare
First, you know how some prepackaged, do-it-yourself kits add extra hardware in case you lose that tiny screw? Well, this is your chance to hone perfection when it comes to accountability, because there will be none of that here. The only extra fasteners I had were those that came in quantities over a hundred. For the special assemblies with 3-4 tiny screws, NO EXTRAS! Thumbs down for the sheer number of unique parts on this, including fasteners. Now, I believe it is going to put up with our snow loads in the foothills of the Rockies; once you figure out where everything goes it is solid as a brick you-know-what. It is attractive to look at. But >80 hours to put up a foundation, a frame and some plastic panels seems ridiculous. Many times I had 4 people staring at directions making suggestions as to why our assembly was becoming a disaster. Much rework. Many things were connected, then unconnected to add a brace, then reconnected, then unconnected because you couldn't add another part with everything being tight. Then this thing would pop out of alignment over here. UGH! Maybe I will love it later, like a baby after childbirth.

Beautiful green house if you’re ready to assemble a challenge
Directions difficult. You should take all materials and group and spread out parts on a tarp. It’s a great product. Really well machined and of high quality. I would buy it again but I would like to take a shot at reorganization and directions if I was going to do the construction again. Color coded dots for module would help

Great product but frustrating assembly
Seems to be a nice green house. Very well constructed. A nightmare to assemble. I recommend watching YouTube videos and taking the time to organize parts. Once together it is worth the effort.
