The clicking noise is coming from the rod that turns to create a flame. I took the back cover off and the hole that the rod goes through is oblong not round so the rod goes up the drops and makes the noise. I took two Q tip stems and inserted them into the hole and it works fine. No noise. The heater works fine and puts out good heat.

This heater is adorable! It's about the size of a space heater so pay attention to the measurements if you're looking for it to fit in a certain space or if you think it's going to be larger than it looks. Even though I saw the measurements, it was smaller than I was imagining. It's exterior finish is really nice and the fire is calming and flickering just like a real fire. It's perfectly silent on the fire only mode. The fan for the two heater modes is quiet, not very loud at all. It puts out a good amount of heat for it's size. It will smell for a while when you first turn on the heater function but that wore off after about an hour. I'm really happy with it.

This little heater is small, but it is lovely. The fan-forced heat takes the chill from the air in a small room. While it is obvious the flames are artificial, it still creates a warm and inviting “fireplace” ambience.My one complaint (and hence, one star removed) are with the legs/feet for the unit. They are plastic while the heater exterior is metal; the heater is light enough to be supported on the plastic legs. The freakishly large screws to attach the legs, however, were a NO-GO. I went to the local hardware store and purchased #6, 1/2” long screws (8 of them) which worked great!Nice little space heater fireplace. I like it!

Menopause did a number on me no hot flashes, I freeze it’s very rare, lucky me, so I keep a heater next to my bed and my last one looked just like this one lasted 4 years and then it died so I quickly got this one, works real good has low heat and hi heat and the fireplace looking part which I like.

The media could not be loaded. It worked fine at first. It was nice and cozy. But now it won’t even turn on. Window is closed for return or exchange. If your are considering this one I’d opt for another. This won’t last you at all. Not worth money.

We ordered our fireplace February 1, 2022 and it worked like a champ. We originally bought this fireplace to offset the cold in the front of our Class A Motorcoach while we ran our heat pumps on colder days below 40. It worked perfectly.This year, we are using it as the only heat source hooked up to 30 amps.I am sure this fireplace would still be working however, we are hooked up to a repair shop and the constant power surge did the little guy in.We never had a noise issue, and it did a pretty good job of keeping the front of our motorcoach warm with closing the doors to the back of the coach. and keeping the shades down overnight. To be fair, during 12 degree nights, it was not toasty in the morning, but warm enough to not freeze our bum off.. You have to remember we are heating 240 SF with heat loss through windows in a coach that is not winterized.It has done a remarkable job-- just bought another one and bummed I have to wait a day to get this.. thank goodness we have electric blankets!

I purchased this because the house I have now doesn't have a fireplace and no space to install one. This fits into my entertainment center under the TV and gives me the ambience of a fire. It has a heater but I don't intend to use that feature so I can't comment on that.So happy with this.

My favorite thing is sitting beside it with a book and a cup of tea. Without the legs, it’s shorter than a 2liter bottle of soda.The legs are optional. You attach them by screwing them onto the base. The sides, top, and bottom of this unit do not heat up. Air is drawn in from the back of the unit and released warm through a 2” x 14” vent on the face of the unit, right above the fire window. Very happy with how this looks. I posted a video and a link on social media and probably got at least ten friends to buy them. Everyone loves theirs as much as I love mine. :)
