Mxeol Bimini Top Fittings Eye End Caps External 316 Stainless Steel Pair

These 316 Stainless Top Cap Eye's helped me finish customizing the supports for bimini top on my boat. They are great quality, they look good, and they fit right. Can't ask for much more than that. I'll add that my use is primarily freshwater, but sometimes there is some saltwater exposure. I've used them for a full season and these caps still look brand new.

The manufacturing tolerance on the set screws is terrible - one stripped out using a high quality American made allen wrench- and the screw wasn't even tightened yet.

Worked fin. A bit loose compared to the original it replaced but ok.

I bought a couple sets of these to replace the cheap plastic ones that came on my bimini top. They work great and definitely won't break and wear out from the sun like the plastic ones would have. Only downside was that the set screws seem a little too short but they still grip fine. Time will tell how they hold up but as of now they have been great! I will probably purchase a few more to finish replacing all the plastic hardware with stainless steel.

My 1" tube measures .99" OD. This fitting measures 1.035" ID. I bought this because the seller said the ID was 1" which would fit nice and snug, however it is rather loose with .045" of clearance. I can make it work but the measurements should be clearly stated so you know what you're getting.

Legit heavy duty stainless steel. So much better than the plastic garbage.

These are nice but the Allen screws need to be longer and/or the tube ID needs to be a little smaller. I cannot actual use these because they are to lose on my 1” tube Bimini top. I will have to add filler, thinking JB Weld or they will fall off. I may try longer Allen screws as well.

I needed to replace a couple of the plastic ends on my Budge/Empire bimini top. These worked out perfectly.
