solid and sharp, fast cutting.
**update 4/21/13**I now use this saw as my go to utility saw. It cuts PVC piping like buttah.***Update: 10/08/2012***Just came back from a camping trip in which I used the Shark - I am even more impressed. Because it's a "pullsaw" it gets the cut started a lot quicker, cleaner, and the saw is FAST. I know I said I love the Bahco saw, but after using the Shark, I really believe it's a better product. I believe this is the essential saw for camping and / or bushcraft.***update 09/25/12***I have now used the shark for cutting driftwood for firewood and fatwood into small pieces. Honestly, I was surprised at how quickly it sliced through the wood - especially the fatwood, which I expected to give me trouble because of it's high resin content. It cut with smooth, solid strokes, didn't jump out of the cuts at all - and I was cutting very small pieces. Very very impressed. Plus, it comes with a nylon sheath, which other pocket saws don't.I have several Shark brand saws and I love them. They are well designed, comfortable to use and very efficient. I had been using a Bahco folding saw for cutting firewood while camping, and while I love the Bahco and think it's a great saw, the Shark just feels more solidly built. The other nice thing is that the shark has a couple of locking blade angles, depending on how you are using the blade. It folds up compactly and securely and is SHARP! The handle is comfortable to use and ergonomically designed. Very high quality tool.

Pocket Shark
This handsaw is phenomenally sharp and easy to use. I believe the sportsman is a little thinner than the ordinary saw. Regardless, the thing is a beast. It is a durable quality product. There are many, many to saws to choose from - but you won't go wrong here.

Great saw.
Not the lightest, but very solid and cuts like a champ. The Japanese style teeth that cut only on the draw are far superior. These are very sharp and work smoothly and quickly. No complaints.
