Installing it a little higher would make it work better
The media could not be loaded. I love these for a lot of reasons but I believe they need tweaking. I love how these can be switched to the off feature so they aren't always blocking your drawers from opening. The easy install mechanism was amazing. Worked great and made installing these so fast. However my complaint is that they are installing too low so if you open your drawer with adult force they just pop open. Even my 2 yr old can pull hard enough to do this. I believe this wouldn't be possible if I decided not to use the easy install mechanism and just put them up a bit higher next time. That being said all the times we have ripped drawers open the adhesive has stayed on great and the plastic has not broken.

4 years later
This is a review 4 years later so take it as you will. The initial install was easy and things worked as they should for the first 6-9 months. However, after that small things broke and made pieces unusable, but other parts held up. It should be noted that the mechanism involves a spring and plastic parts, and the pieces were some what brittle. Consequently, the pieces broke easily from normal use. They lasted for our first child, so if that’s all you need, then this may be for you. But if you need it for several kids/grandkids for years to come, then you may want to consider something else. Overall not bad and it worked for our one child.

The "Small Latch" Is Completely Worthless...BUT
Overall I'd give these locks a 3.5 out of 5 stars.Either my 15 month old is freakishly strong (I've never thought so before) or the "small latch" that adheres to the inside of the cabinet is completely, utterly worthless. I tried using just the adhesive and my toddler quickly ripped the "small latch" off with little effort, though the actual locking mechanism seemed to hold up well. So, I thought I'd use the small screws that came in the box to firmly secure the "small latch" to the inside of the cabinet and thus prevent my toddler from ripping it off in one pull. However, he simply pulled a little harder and the plastic lock / hook that's supposed to keep the cabinet door closed (by catching on the "small latch") slipped right off the "small latch" and the door opened easily.Plan B: I completely scrapped the "small latch" provided in this set and simply used the provided screws to anchor the locking mechanism and hook to the cabinet door, but I positioned it so that the hook would grab the inside of the cabinet frame itself. Our cabinets are old and there's a perfectly sized lip for the locking hook to grab onto. Once I setup the locks this way, the toddler has been unable to brute-force open the cabinet doors...hopefully he doesn't figure out the process for releasing the lock itself. So, my advice: If you're going to buy these, be prepared to not even both with the plastic "small latch" piece of the setup, get a drill to anchor the lock itself to the cabinet door with the small screws that are provided, and setup the locking mechanism to use the lip of the cabinet itself. Otherwise, you should probably find a different set of cabinet locks.

It’s falling off.
I had tho use the sticky pads because the screw holes didn’t line up with the wooden part of the doors. The sticky pad only touched half the sticky pad and half of the wood. I think that’s why it’s coming off. Lucky that it comes with a lots of them so I can replace them as they fall off.

will do the job with a few modifications
I've seen a few reviews about these not staying closed. I ran into the same problem when using the template. However if I raised the latch a bit on the door/ drawer it resolved this problem.I also chose to attach them using the screws provided. Sometimes the adhesion made it near impossible to remove (readjust), other times it would come off with a good pull. It also allowed me to fine tune the position simply by moving the screws.I have encountered my 23 month being able to stick her hands into cabinets or drawers because they open to much. I was able to fix this by moving the catch back and/ or flipping it in the other direction. Because of the button position, I don't need as much room to depress it and open the drawer/ door.It would be nice it the template was accurate. But overall I do like them and would purchase them again.

Nana installed 7 in 20 minutes!!
This is my second box! I added more locks as our family grew. The cabinet locks hold up well if they set overnight. The video and latch lineup tool make installation a cinch. They have added a lock/unlock feature which is great for grandparents who don't want every cabinet on lockdown when the kiddos aren't visiting. For future baby showers, this is going to be a standard gift.

Installation takes time.
The adhesive isn’t the best, so you have to use the screws to secure them to the cabinets. They have to be precisely placed or they won’t catch, do installation takes figuring, measuring and time. Once in place they work as intended.
