I have become a follower of Sy Montgomery, who has studied the lives of animals, particularly thosethat live in the ocean. She does the diving, swimming, studying first- hand herself, so this charmingbook would instill a child's (or adult's!) interest, I promise!. Just look up Sy Montgomery! Anothercharmer of her's is "The Good Good Pig"! It's wonderful!!!

Purchased this child's book so I could share it with my book club after we read "The Soul of an Octopus."

Read this book to a group of first graders and they absolutely loved it.That was high enough recommendation for me.Going to gift this book to my young grandchildren.

This is a wonderful story for children and the adults who may read it to them as well. I am sure it will become a favorite of most children. Lovely illustrations, too!
