Don't go camping again without this. If you have 10 minutes, you can install this. Can't wait till spring break!!!!!!
I love this Jack. Like the rest of you, raising and lowering the jack while putting on the weight distribution hitch, etc. is a real pain. I'm a 55 year old woman so I was a little intimidated about adding this. I finally decided to try this. The jack was delivered in 2 days. I opened the box and looked at the contents. I didn't have time to mount it the day I got it because it was already getting dark. I looked at it enough to determine the instructions are useless. I got the jack stands out and lowered the tongue of the RV till the weight was off the old jack. Looking at the instructions, it appeared you needed 6 star washes but they only gave you 3. I stopped there until I had more time. We had a soccer tournament today. We got home at 3. There was a light drizzle but I wanted to see if I could install it. The most intimidating part was loosening the bolts on the old jack and sliding it out. I had visions of the whole thing crashing down. The old one came off easily. The Jack Quick slid right into the old slots and lined up perfectly. I Installed the 6 washers on the 3 bolts, tightened it down, plugged it in and it worked beautifully. I should knock off one star for not giving you 6 star washers since it required a trip to the hardware store. Also they should have some method for attaching the plug and cord to the unit while you are under tow. I used some long bread ties to secure it to the jack. Hope that is enough. I am so pleased. The actual install, (not including buying the washers or putting the RV on the jack stands down) took 10 minutes. So easy. Don't wait. If I can do this you can. Do turn the lights on the vehicle or the jack won't turn on. I tested it just for grins. I added a video. Sorry, I don't know how to edit it.

This jack was wired backwards.
I purchased this jack because I did not want to do any wiring. The mounting of the jack went well. I plugged it in, started the truck and turned on the truck lights. Went to test the jack, the light on the jack was very dim and if I tried to use the up or down the light would go out. Now that I have the jack installed it was not coming off until I check the connections. One of the contacts in the 7 way plug was pushed in. I took apart to fix the connector to find out there are only 2 wires. Makes sense, The way it was supposed to be was positive wired to the running lights and the negative per the note(lights on and vehicle running). There were 2 wires a black and a green with yellow. Black was on the negative plug terminal and the g/y was on the running light lead. THIS ENDED UP BEING BACKWARDS!! I noticed the the black wire was going into a circuit breaker and the g/y was going into the switch for the up/down function. I took the 7 way plug off and wired the jack to a small battery for testing. First g/y to the + and black to the -(the way it was wired) Light worked but not the up/down. Swapped the black to the + and g/y to the minus. BINGO. Light was bright and up/down worked. Remember my first sentence. I DID NOT WANT TO DO WIRING! I spent more on this jack and had to do wiring anyway. MY TIME I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!

Works great. Had to rewire the plug a different way, but other than that it works great.

Problem Breaker/ Needs very clean ground.
Problem noted on delivery. A circuit breaker housing with two wires (Load and line) came with the jack. Nothing in directions about it but I finally realized the breaker should only be shipped with jack that has to be wired by the user, not the jack that comes prewired with a plug. Also the jack would not work until I got the mounting surface on the hitch absolutely clean of everything but shiny silver for the ground. Works very well once you get past those two issues.

Works great, as long as your headlights are on
Worked great - once. Super easy to install and worked great the first time I used it, went to use it again six days later and there’s no power to it at all. When it did work, the light was very dim and not very helpful at all when you are hooking up or disconnecting after dark. I’m updating my review because after reading through the rest of the Amazon reviews, I discovered that your headlights have to be on in order for this jack to work. I replaced a fuse in my truck and made sure my headlights were on every time I used it and it works fine. Would’ve been nice if there had been a FAQ or a troubleshooting guide with the installation instructions.

Quick and Easy!!!
I was a little concerned about the travel length on the jack, but it works great with the adjustable foot. My F350 sits pretty high and this jack takes it all the way up with some to spare. Had the old jack out and the new on installed in about 30 minutes. Love the fact that it plugs into my truck. Read the directions carefully, you have to have your running lights on in order for this jack to get power. The only down side is finding a way to secure the cable when traveling down the road. Great Product.
