I originally learned about Lion's Mane Mushrooms from the Joe Rogan podcast where he interviews Paul Stamets. I immediately went on Amazon to order these. My parents are both in their 60's, and have memory problems. I already know that they are going to develop worse mental problems as they get older, and after hearing that this helps fix those issues, I wanted them to try it. They are both taking 1 to 2 a day (the recommended dose is 3 per day.) and they haven't noticed any difference, but personally, I do.I'm 28, so my memory is still pretty good, but taking these capsules helped me to realize just how much help I needed. After I take one of these, I feel much more awake and alert...So much so that I don't need coffee. It makes me able to focus on the task at hand, and be more productive. It also helps me sleep better. I normally toss and turn, and if I sleep too long, I wake up in a lot of pain. Taking one of these before bed helped me to lay still and wake up feeling refreshed.I also have far less anxiety after I take one of these. I didn't realize how bad my anxiety was until I now know what a "normal" brain feels like. It's like I can actually feel content with life, relaxed, and optimistic without pushing myself to feel that way. I never thought of myself as someone who needed anxiety medication, because I always worked through my thoughts. However, now that I know I can take an all-natural mushroom that takes away the bad thoughts, of course I love it.People joke that it will make you smarter, but that's not exactly true. It's more like your brain can make connections a lot easier, or like you can pick up pieces of a puzzle and know exactly where it belongs, instead of struggling to figure out where it fits. So, if you combine it with research and studying, I can see how that it would make you "smarter". If I was still in school, I would most definitely take two of these before an exam.I am definitely going to re-order these or find them in my local store once I run out. I highly recommend it.

Product arrived as expected and I had no issues with broken capsules as other reviewers reported.I am still undecided as to whether or not Lion's Mane (regardless of whom I buy it from) does anything beneficial. I am trying it for a few months to see if I notice any positive benefits. This is the second manufacturer I have tried because the ratings and price per capsule were good.
