I am a long time Dove user. This is the only bar I can use that doesn't dry my skin out. I have a friend with a similar problem who only uses body wash. I don't feel quite as clean using body wash as I do, a bar of soap (although this doesn't claim to be soap, but rather a beauty bar). It lathers like soap and leaves a nice scent, but no residue. I was glad they came out with different scents while still maintaining the original standard of moisturizing set forth by the original white bar. As an aside, some of the other scents Dove has released in a beauty bar have been made with "microbeads" in the bar, which do irritate sensitive areas (read the GYN told me to stay away). This Cool Moisture bar does not have those beads. All in all my favorite Dove beauty bar release.Note: I try not to pay more than $1.50 per bar, sometimes Amazon meets or beats that, sometimes not.

I don't think there's anything particularly magical about Dove soap, it just depends on what your skin likes. That said, my skin LOVES Dove. I used an olive oil soap for years, believing that it was better for my skin than "traditional" soaps like Dove or Dial, but for the last 6 months or so I'd been very unhappy with my skin - constant tiny break outs, ruddiness, uneven skin tone... You name it, I was experiencing it. I tried lots of different things (bentonite clay masks, GlamGlow, Clarisonic Mia, etc.) with absolutely no success. Oddly enough, while visiting a friend for a weekend, I used her Dove soap to wash my face and was AMAZED at how quickly my skin smoothed out and cleared up. I went back home and kept trying with the olive oil soap, but after a few weeks I gave up and ordered some Dove. Never been happier! Plus, the "cool moisture" scent is incredible.

I love it. This was a reasonable price for Dove. I am a 36 year old female and this is the first time I have ever been able to purchase my own Dove soap. This brand smells so good and it feels great. Warning: may cause extra long hot showers. I lathered about three times in one shower. Skin feels great after. If you have a snuggle buddy , they will love they way you smell.

Great product! I love Dove and normally get the "sensitive" kind of soap--which I think I will probably return to. While I still really like this soap, and it makes my skin soft (gentle enough for my face!) the smell is a bit overwhelming. It doesn't linger, but I would still prefer something a little more neutral....

I bought these as one of those little unexpected surprises. Home run. She loved the scent and moisturizing.
