The seat post looks nice and fit my 30.4mm receiver very well, but the spring is way too heavy for lighter riders. They should have explained that in the description. And yes, the spring pre-load is all the way loose.

I have been using this seat post for six months now. I needed a few more inches on my seat post, and since this one is also a suspension style, I thought it would help make my commute on my ebike a little more comfortable. So far it has been great! I'm a 190 lb male, 6ft male, so I'm not small. The seat post provides a little extra bounce and is very comfortable. Installation was easy and the post has markings on it so you can easily adjust it to the right height for you or others if needed.

It's not really a "suspension" seat post, because the spring is so rigid, there's no give to it. It's remotely possible there is some, but I've had it for two weeks, ride 15 to 20 miles per day, weigh 300 pounds (136 kilos), and haven't found it yet. Unless you're doing parkour on your bike, I think you need to spend the 90 bucks elsewhere for a hydraulic seat post. Alternatively, this maker could offer less rigid springs as options. I'd like to see them do that, because they're obviously serious about providing a quality product at a very fair price. (I've also been impressed with the quality of their customer service.)

Very happy and satisfied with this seat post....Super comfortable after fine tuning adjustment best for my weight. Works very smooth and squeek-free... so far! Worthy for its price.

I was a little disturbed by the apparent small diameter of the inner support tube. It didn't look like it would take my weight. But, 600+ miles in, it has transformed my old bike and it does exactly what they described. It makes the bike "feel" like a much more stable platform somehow. Not sure why that is but I find myself taking corners with less nervousness at high speed. It's quite heavy compared to an empty stem as you would expect but that has a reassuring air of quality. I do not want to ever go back to the days of not using this!

Was fine until a number of weeks in. Lasted just long enough for return window to slam shut. Seat started spinning and nothing at all could stop it. Unsafe, in fact dangerous !! Do not waste your money, DO NOT risk your safety !!
