Remember to use a powerful charger
The bamboo surface is tactile and good looking. The pad is slim and hasnt gotten hot, or really even particulalry warm in use.You'll want to use a powerful usb charger if possible, as if you use the one that came with your phone it may not keep charging , especially if your phone has a case on. I had this issue with my wifes phone which has a thicker case one; all issues resolved as soon as I used a 10w charger.

Really Happy With This
Just brilliant! It looks like a coaster which means it doesn’t look out of place on a bedside table.The light isn’t bright which is great for night charging.

Looks good, feels cheap, works well
A wooden look veneer, looks good but feels cheap, it's very very slim (about as wide as the charger pin) has a nice rubber base to stop it sliding the tabletop

Do not buy
I would not recommend this product. It does not connect to your phone straight away you have to keep moving it around to get a connection and somehow the connection gets lost in the middle of charging. It is not sturdy as well. After only 1 day of using it the wooden top bit fell off.
