My son outgrew his size five water shoes so I tried these because of the cute patterns. The size 6-7 ran way too large. Usually if a shoe is too large, there is room at the toes, but these oddly were way too big at the heel as if the hole for his feel was located too far forward. I took a picture as I have a hard time imagining that his feet will ever be the shape required to fill out the heel.As a side effect of the extra room at the heel, he can easily take the shoes off in the pool. In fact, during his second time wearing the shoes, he now thinks taking off the shoes is great fun, and he seems to like them better as floating pool toys than footwear (unlike his previous pair from a different brand that he never took off outside, and sometimes wanted to wear inside too!). This makes them utterly useless for the purpose of protecting his feet from the hot concrete in the summer, so I will be returning them.

I love these shoes, I've had no problems with them. He grew out of the other ones, so I purchased a bigger size.

Super cute and good fit, but after a few trips to the pool, the sides are already frayed. They still work for their intended purpose, just look worn a lot faster than other styles I've used.
